Abstract
【解決手段】網膜を構成する細胞を電気刺激することにより視覚を再生する視覚再生補助装置において、網膜を構成する細胞に電気刺激パルス信号を与える複数の電極27と、該電極が設置される基板21と、該基板に設置され前記電気刺激パルス信号を出力する電極を選択的に切り換える複数の切換制御ユニット24と、を備え、前記複数の電極は所定の数に分けられた複数のグループを形成し,各グループに対して一の切換制御ユニットが接続される構成を有すること。

Description
(1) 網膜を構成する細胞を電気刺激することにより視覚を再生する視覚再生補助装置において、網膜を構成する細胞に電気刺激パルス信号を与える複数の電極と、該電極が設置される基板と、該基板に設置され前記電気刺激パルス信号を出力する電極を選択的に切り換える複数の切換制御ユニットと、を備え、前記複数の電極は所定の数に分けられた複数のグループを形成し,各グループに対して一の切換制御ユニットが接続される構成を有することを特徴とする。
(2) (1)の視覚再生補助装置において、前記切換制御ユニットは接続する前記グループの電極設置部分の裏側の基板面に設置されることを特徴とする。
(3) (2)の視覚再生補助装置において、前記一つの切換制御ユニットに接続される電極数は、強度不足を補うための厚みを考慮することがない切換制御ユニットの大きさで接続可能な電極数であることを特徴とする。

Claims (3)
- 網膜を構成する細胞を電気刺激することにより視覚を再生する視覚再生補助装置において、網膜を構成する細胞に電気刺激パルス信号を与える複数の電極と、該電極が設置される基板と、該基板に設置され前記電気刺激パルス信号を出力する電極を選択的に切り換える複数の切換制御ユニットと、を備え、前記複数の電極は所定の数に分けられた複数のグループを形成し,各グループに対して一の切換制御ユニットが接続される構成を有することを特徴とする視覚再生補助装置。
- 請求項1の視覚再生補助装置において、前記切換制御ユニットは接続する前記グループの電極設置部分の裏側の基板面に設置されることを特徴とする視覚再生補助装置。
- 請求項2の視覚再生補助装置において、前記一つの切換制御ユニットに接続される電極数は、強度不足を補うための厚みを考慮することがない切換制御ユニットの大きさで接続可能な電極数であることを特徴とする視覚再生補助装置。
