Claims (12)
- 原子炉心(22)であって、
複数の燃料アセンブリ(80)を含み、前記燃料アセンブリの各々が、下部タイプレート(82)と入口を備えた主冷却材流路(88)とを含み、
前記複数の燃料アセンブリが、該炉心内部で少なくとも3つの領域(70、74、76)内に配列され、
前記流路が、特定の領域内に設置された燃料アセンブリの主冷却材流路を通る冷却材流量が実質的に同一でありかつ各該領域内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量が各他領域内の燃料アセンブリを過る冷却材流量とは異なるように構成されている、
原子炉心(22)。 - 複数の冷却材オリフィス(94)をさらに含み、前記冷却材オリフィスの各々が前記冷却流路(88)の入口内に設置されている、請求項1記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記特定の領域(70、74、76)内に設置された燃料アセンブリ(80)の冷却材オリフィス(94)が、該特定の領域内に設置された燃料アセンブリの主冷却材流路(88)を通る冷却材流量が実質的に同一になるような寸法にされている、請求項2記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記燃料アセンブリ(80)の冷却材オリフィス(94)が、各前記領域(70、74、76)内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量が各他領域内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量とは異なるような寸法にされている、
請求項3に記載の原子炉心(22)。 - 該炉心が、ほぼ円形の断面を含み、前記燃料アセンブリ(80)が、前記炉心の外端縁(72)の周りに円周方向に位置する端縁領域(70)と、前記端縁領域に隣接して位置する中間領域(74)と、該炉心の中心部に位置する中心領域(76)と内に配列されており、前記中間領域が前記端縁領域と前記中心領域との間に位置している、請求項1記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記端縁領域(70)内に設置された燃料アセンブリ(80)を通る冷却材流量が、前記中間領域(74)内に設置された燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量よりも小さい、請求項5記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記中間領域(74)内に設置された燃料アセンブリ(80)を通る冷却材流量が、前記中心領域(76)内に設置された燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量よりも小さい、請求項6記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 複数の流量絞り装置(96)をさらに含み、前記流量絞り装置の各々が前記下部タイプレート(82)の下端部(86)に着脱可能に結合されている、請求項1記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記特定の領域内に設置された燃料アセンブリ(80)の流量絞り装置(96)が、該特定の領域(70、74、76)内に設置された燃料アセンブリの主冷却材流路(88)を通る冷却材流量が実質的に同一になるような寸法にされている、請求項8記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記燃料アセンブリ(80)の流量絞り装置(96)が、各前記領域(70、74、76)内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量が各他領域内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量とは異なるような寸法にされている、請求項9記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 複数の流量絞り装置(96)をさらに含み、前記流量絞り装置の各々が前記下部タイプレート(82)の下端部(86)に着脱可能に結合され、前記特定の領域内に設置された燃料アセンブリの流量絞り装置が、該特定の領域内に設置された燃料アセンブリの主冷却材流路(88)を通る冷却材流量が実質的に同一になるような寸法にされている、請求項2記載の原子炉心(22)。
- 前記燃料アセンブリ(80)の流量絞り装置(96)が、各前記領域(70、74、76)内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量が各他領域内の燃料アセンブリを通る冷却材流量とは異なるような寸法にされている、請求項11記載の原子炉心(22)。
