Abstract
【解決手段】排気流路2,4の途中にNOx吸蔵還元触媒5を装備してNOxを還元浄化するように構成した排気浄化装置であって、排気流路2,4におけるNOx吸蔵還元触媒5の上流側に、燃料をH2とCOに分解する燃料改質触媒構造7又はプラズマ燃料改質手段を設ける。

Claims (5)
- 排気流路の途中にNOx吸蔵還元触媒を装備してNOxを還元浄化するように構成した排気浄化装置であって、前記排気流路におけるNOx吸蔵還元触媒の上流側に、燃料をH2とCOに分解する燃料改質触媒構造又はプラズマ燃料改質手段を設けたことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
- 排気流路における燃料改質触媒構造又はプラズマ燃料改質手段の上流側に、NOをNO2に酸化するプラズマ発生手段を配置した請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- プラズマ発生手段は、排気燃料比がリーン時にNOをNO2に酸化してNOx吸蔵還元触媒によるNOx吸蔵を促進させるよう制御された請求項2に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 燃料改質触媒構造又はプラズマ燃料改質手段は、空燃比が燃料リッチ時に燃料をH2とCOに分解してNOx吸蔵還元触媒のNOxを還元するよう制御された請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 燃料改質触媒構造又はプラズマ燃料改質手段は、排気温度が充分高い場合には燃料を非分解で供給して瞬間的に燃料を濃くするよう制御された請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
