PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial / anti-tick processing method for washing-resistant fibers.
SOLUTION: By combining polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphate and a pyrethroid compound, antibacterial / anti-mite processing of a fiber having durability for washing becomes possible.

Description

The present invention relates to a fiber having antibacterial / anti-mite properties. More specifically, the present invention relates to an antibacterial / tick-proof fiber having excellent antibacterial / anti-tick effect washing durability and little deterioration in the effect even when blended.

Conventionally, there is an interest in providing antibacterial properties to carpets, bedding and the like for the purpose of preventing infection with pathogenic bacteria in hospitals and nursing homes. There is an increasing need for antibacterial processing such as hospital infection in MRSA and food poisoning caused by pathogenic bacteria. In addition, allergic diseases and childhood asthma also become social problems, and there is a great need for the removal of mites, which are allergens.

In response to these needs, many proposals have been made to process antibacterial agents and acaricides on fibers. Antibacterial agents include inorganic antibacterial agents using antibacterial metals such as silver, and organic antibacterial agents such as quaternary ammonium salts, pyrithione, and diphenyl. Further, pyrethroids and carboxylic acid esters are used as anti-mite agents.

As a method for fixing an antibacterial agent and an acaricide to a fiber, a method using various binder resins in combination is known.

However, any of the conventionally proposed methods still has insufficient washing durability, and their effects are further reduced when blended with unprocessed same or other fibers.

The present invention is based on the background of the prior art, and its problem is to provide antibacterial and anti-tick fibers that are superior in antibacterial and anti-mite washing durability and that do not deteriorate even when blended with other raw fibers. There is.

In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors combined an antibacterial agent and an acaricide used in fiber processing, processed into a fiber, and confirmed its washing durability. Polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphate and It was found that the combination with a pyrethroid-based acaricide significantly improved the washing durability of the antibacterial and acaricidal performance, and the performance was reduced even when blended with other raw fibers, and the present invention was completed. .

The combination of the polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphate and the pyrethroid compound of the present invention does not require a complicated processing method, has high washing durability, and does not show a significant decrease in performance even in blend spinning.

Best mode for solving problems

The polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphate used in the present invention is a cationic antibacterial agent and has a strong antibacterial effect against a wide range of bacteria. As for safety, it is a substance that is not particularly toxic to the skin and suitable for antibacterial processing of fibers.

Further, the anti-mite agent used in the present invention is pyrethroid compounds such as phenothrin, permethrin, synthetic pyrethrin and natural pyrethrin, and etofenprox and silafluophene which do not have a pyrethroid skeleton but exhibit the same mechanism of action as the pyrethroid compounds. Pyrethroid-like compounds such as can be used in the same manner as pyrethroid compounds. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.

The processing amount of the polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphate with respect to the fiber is in the range of 0.001 to 10% by weight, preferably 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, but is not particularly limited.

Further, the processing amount of the mite-preventing agent used in the present invention with respect to the fiber is in the range of 0.005 to 0.5% by weight, preferably 0.01 to 0.2% by weight with respect to the fiber weight. Not.

In the present invention, a resin binder can be used in combination. Resin binders that can be used in combination are self-crosslinking acrylic esters or copolymer resins having a carboxyl group in the molecule, acrylic / silicone copolymer resins, urethane resins, silicone resins, ethylene vinyl acetate resins, methacrylic resins, and glyoxal resins. It consists of seeds or two or more.
