Description

The present invention relates to a terminal connection structure using a bolt for screwing and connecting a terminal and another circuit by attaching a terminal in a state where the bolt is temporarily tightened, and finally tightening with the bolt, and an electric connection box including the terminal connection structure It is about.

FIG. 5 shows an embodiment of an electrical junction box having a conventional terminal connection bolt (see Patent Document 1).

The electrical connection box 61 is composed of a main connection box 62 and a sub-connection box 63, and a round terminal 65 with an electric wire on the side of the sub-connection box is connected to a fusible link 64 for power supply on the side of the main connection box with a bolt 66. Tightening connection.

The fusible link 64 has a pair of plate terminals. Each plate terminal is fastened to each bus bar 67 with a bolt 66, and each bus bar 67 is connected to a plurality of other fusible links 68 on the main connection box side. .

The bus bar 67 is formed by punching and bending a conductive metal plate in a band shape, and has a tab terminal for the fusible link 68 and a plate portion for connection to the plate terminal of the fusible link 64 for power supply.

The bolt 66 passes through a hole between the plate terminal of the fusible link 64 and the connecting plate, and is fastened and fixed with a nut (not shown). FIG. 6 shows one form of a conventional terminal connection structure using bolts (see Patent Document 2).

A fusible link 76 is mounted in a box portion of a holder 75 made of synthetic resin, and a bolt 77 passes through a hole of one plate terminal 78 of the fusible link 76 in an extension portion (insulating block) 86 of the holder 75 to the inside. The bolts 77 are temporarily tightened to the nuts 79 and the heads of the bolts 77 are lifted from the plate terminals 78. In this state, the terminal 80 with the electric wire is attached along the bolt 77, and the terminal 80 is connected to the plate terminal 78 of the fusible link 76 by tightening the bolt 77.

The terminal 80 includes a substantially U-shaped plate portion 82 having a slot 81, a frame-like portion 83 raised at the front end of the plate portion 82, and an electric wire connecting portion 84 that follows the plate portion 82, The shaft portion of the bolt 77 engages in the slot 81 while the frame portion 83 passes through the head of the bolt 77.

The holder 75 is provided with a holding spring portion (not shown) for temporarily fixing the terminal 80 and a locking piece 85. The bolt 77 is finally tightened in a state where the terminal 80 is temporarily fixed by the spring portion and the locking piece 85. Since the terminal 80 is temporarily fixed horizontally, the bolt 77 is prevented from being obliquely tightened. The holder 75 functions as a part of an electrical junction box (not shown).
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-247451 (pages 3 to 4, FIG. 1) JP 2002-184299 A (FIGS. 1 and 16)

However, in the terminal connection structure using the conventional bolt, the electric connection box is attached to the bolt 77 before the terminal 80 is mounted on the holder side or after the terminal 80 is temporarily fixed by the locking piece 85. There is a concern that the bolt 77 may come loose and fall off when transported in a temporarily tightened state.

As a means for tightly screwing the bolt into the nut so as not to loosen, there is a known method in which the thread of the male thread of the bolt is protruded slightly outward from the normal and is sized to wrap in the valley of the female thread of the nut However, when this bolt is used, metal scraps such as nuts are easily generated when the bolts are tightened, and the scraps may enter the electrical junction box and cause poor contact. was there.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and a terminal connection structure using a bolt that can securely fix a bolt without loosening and that does not cause harmful shavings such as a nut, and an electrical connection including the terminal connection structure The purpose is to provide a box.

The stop ribs 21 and 22 are located on the upper side of the locking claw 20 and come into contact with the upper end surface of the horizontal side part on the upper side of the frame-like part 3. In this example, the stop ribs 21 and 22 are arranged corresponding to the left and right ends and the center of the frame-like portion 3.

The locking claw 20 prevents the terminal 1 from coming out in the horizontal direction, and the stop ribs 21 and 22 prevent the terminal 1 from moving upward. Since the terminal 1 is horizontally disposed perpendicular to the bolt 11 and the tip of an impact wrench (not shown) is in contact with the horizontal plate portion 2 of the terminal 1 and positioned vertically, the bolt 11 is tilted by the impact wrench. Tightening is reliably prevented.

In the terminal block 15, the upper end surface of the nut 23 (FIG. 3) is slightly protruded from the horizontal wall portion 19, and is in contact with or close to the lower end surface (bolt through surface) 23 c of the flange 23 a on the lower side of the nut 23. Then, a plate-like bolt temporary fixing member 24 is provided, and the bolt temporary fixing member 24 is formed to have an outer diameter (outside width dimension) similar to that of the flange portion 23a of the nut 23, and is used for temporarily fixing the bolt. The member 24 is fitted into the horizontal groove 25 together with the flange 23a of the nut 23, and a bolt insertion hole 26 is provided below the groove 25.

The nut 23 and the bolt fixing member 24 are, for example, slidably mounted in the groove 25 from the side, and are prevented from rotating in the groove 25. For example, the nut 23 and the bolt temporary fixing member 24 are formed in a rectangular shape, so that the rotation in the groove 25 can be easily prevented.

The groove portion 25 may be formed straight (horizontally) on the wall portions 26 a on the left and right sides of the bolt insertion hole 26, or formed in a substantially U shape around the bolt insertion hole 26. May be. The nut engaging groove 50 following the upper side of the groove part 25 is also formed in, for example, a substantially U-shape.

On the upper surface of the nut 23 (FIG. 3), a terminal portion 27 a which is a horizontal extension plate portion of one bus bar 27 in the fusible link housing portion 14 and a terminal portion 28 a which is a horizontal extension plate portion of the other bus bar 28 are provided. And both terminal portions 27a and 28a have bolt insertion holes, the horizontal plate portion 2 of the terminal 1 is disposed on the other terminal portion 28a, and a small gap is formed on the plate portion 2. The head 11a of the bolt 11 is located. The bus bar 28 is locked to the recess 29 of the terminal block 15 by a locking piece 28b.

The bolt 11 is temporarily tightened in FIGS. 1 to 3, and the terminal 1 is slidably mounted from the side with respect to the temporarily tightened bolt 11, and is attached to the inner side 9 of the frame-like portion 3 of the terminal 1. While the head portion 11a of the bolt 11 is inserted, the shaft portion 11b of the bolt 11 is engaged in the slot 10, and the frame-like portion 3 is locked by the locking claws 20 and the stop ribs 21 and 22 without misalignment. In this state, the bolt 11 is finally tightened. The bolts 11 are tightened with an impact wrench. A circle 30 in FIG. 2 shows a rotation space 30 of the impact wrench.

The bolt temporary fixing member 24 (FIG. 3) is preferably formed in a plate shape using a synthetic resin such as nylon as a material, and a circular hole having an inner diameter smaller than the thread diameter (outer diameter) of the bolt 11 at the center thereof. Part (bolt insertion part) 24a. The hole 24 a is disposed concentrically (coaxially) with the female screw hole 23 b of the nut 23.

Nylon, which is a material for the bolt temporary fixing member 24, is also called polyamide, polyimide, or polyamideimide, and has a smaller coefficient of friction than other resin materials, and has wear resistance and self-lubricating properties. Suitable as a stop member.

For example, the bolt 11 can be easily tightened (temporarily tightened) manually or by a wrench with a soft resin other than nylon, and the bolt 11 can be prevented from rotating by exerting a frictional force with the bolt 11. Any material that can be used can be used. It is also possible to use a push nut as the member 24 for temporarily fixing the bolt. It can be said that these bolt fixing members 24 have flexibility or elasticity.

The inner diameter of the circular hole 24a of the bolt temporary fixing member 24 is set to a dimension that allows the operator to easily tighten (temporarily tighten) the bolt 11 by manual work or the like and reliably prevent rotation. It is preferred that For example, it is preferable to set the inner diameter of the hole 24 a of the member 24 to the same size as the valley diameter of the male thread of the bolt 11. The shape of the hole 24a is not limited to a circle, and may be an ellipse or a rectangle. It is also possible to cut out part of the inner periphery of the hole 24a in the radial direction.

No female screw is cut in the hole 24a of the bolt 24 for temporarily fixing, and the surface is a smooth circumferential surface. The bolt 11 is screwed into the nut 23, and the bolt 11 passing through the nut 23 is screwed into the bolt temporary fixing member 24 in the manner of a tapping screw, and the bolt 11 is temporarily inserted in the state of passing through the bolt temporary fixing member 24. Fixed. The bolt 11 is securely screwed (engaged) into the hole 24 a of the bolt temporary fixing member 24 by the momentum (rotational force) screwed into the nut 23.

The entrance of the hole 24a of the bolt 24 fixing member 24 is tapered and chamfered, and the guide inclined surface 24b makes it easy to bite the tip of the bolt 11 into the hole 24a of the bolt temporarily fixing member 24. . As an example, the plate thickness of the bolt temporary fixing member 24 is approximately the same as the thickness of the flange portion 23a of the nut 23, and has a thickness of, for example, a metal washer that prevents a normal bolt from rotating.

By tightening the bolt 11, the terminal 1 and the two bus bars 27 and 28 are connected. The terminal 1 is crimped to the electric wire 7, and the electric wire 7 and both bus bars 27 and 28 are electrically connected.

The two bus bars 27 and 28 are arranged on both sides of the fusible link housing portion 14 and are connected to one terminal of each of the two rows of fusible links 13 (FIG. 2) in the housing portion 14. The connection between the bus bars 27 and 28 and the terminals of the fusible link 13 is performed by fastening together with terminals (LA terminals or round plate terminals) 31 (FIG. 1) with electric wires and horizontal bolts (not shown).

Each fusible link 13 (FIG. 2) is covered and protected by an upper cover 32, and the upper cover 32 is a vertical wall portion of the fusible link housing portion 14 by locking means such as a locking projection 33 and an engagement frame portion 34. 35. The LA terminal 31 is positioned on the lower side of the vertical wall 35 and is partitioned by a partition wall 36 (FIG. 1). The terminal 1 of this embodiment to be tightened and connected with the temporarily fixed bolt 11 is larger than the LA terminal 31, and the electric wire 7 also uses an insulation coated electric wire thicker than the electric wire 37 on the LA terminal side. The terminal 1 of this embodiment is also a kind of LA terminal.

On the outer surface of the vertical wall portion 17 of the terminal block 15, a pair of slide engaging portions 38 (FIG. 1) having a substantially L-shaped cross section and a locking arm 39 positioned between them are provided. The connection box main body 12 (FIG. 2) is provided with a guide portion 40 for the slide engagement portion 38 and an engagement protrusion for the locking arm 39, and the fusible link housing portion 14 is integrally formed with the terminal block 15. Are fixed to the junction box body 12 by the fixing means 38, 39, 40. On the outer surface of the junction box main body 12, there is provided a locking portion 42 (FIG. 2) for fixing to the vehicle body or the like.

FIG. 4 shows an embodiment of an electrical junction box J having a terminal connection structure using the bolt 11.

The electric junction box J is mounted on a hybrid electric vehicle, and the fusible link accommodating portion 14, the fuse accommodating portion 43, the plurality of relays 44, the connector 45, etc. have. The fusible link 13 is a box type for a large current, and the fuse is a blade type for a small / medium current.

The terminal 1 is positioned on the terminal block 15 at right angles to the fusible link housing portion 14, and the electric wire 7 following the terminal 1 is led out through the space 46 inside the junction box body 12. The electric wire 7 is for a large current connected to an alternator (alternator), for example.

The two bus bars connected to the terminal 1 by bolting are arranged vertically along the inner sides of the fusible link accommodating portions 27 and 28 (FIG. 1), and a plurality of bus bars are arranged in two rows in the fusible link accommodating portion. The fusible link 13 is arranged, the bus bars 27 and 28 are connected to one terminal of each fusible link 13, and the other terminal is connected by a terminal with an electric wire or the like (not shown). Is connected to another bus bar circuit 47 following the battery by a wire 48 with a terminal, the bus bar circuit 47 is connected to one terminal of each of the plurality of fuses in the fuse accommodating portion 43, and the other bus bar 28 follows, for example, an alternator. The bus bar circuit 50 is connected by a terminal-attached electric wire 49. Each relay 44 is connected to each auxiliary machine (not shown) such as a lamp, a pump, and an ignition.

In the above embodiment, the terminal 1 is fastened in the vertical direction with the bolt 11, but it is also possible to tighten the terminal 1 in the horizontal direction with the bolt 11 in a straight shape instead of the L shape. . Also in this case, it goes without saying that the locking claws 20 and the stop ribs 21 and 22 for the terminal 1 and the temporary fixing member 24 (FIG. 3) for the bolt 11 are arranged in different directions.

It is also possible to use the terminal 1 having the plate part 2 having only the slot part 10 without the frame-like part 3. In this case, the terminal is not locked, or the locking claw for locking the plate portion 2 may be provided perpendicular to the terminal block 15 instead of the locking claw 20.

Further, it is possible to set the terminal 1 without using the locking claw 20 and the stop ribs 21 and 22 and perform final fastening with the bolt 11. Also in this case, it goes without saying that the bolt 24 fixing member 24 is disposed.

Further, although a synthetic resin material has been mentioned as the material of the bolt temporary fixing member 24, even when the bolt temporary fixing member 24 is formed of other materials (for example, a metal plate material), a bolt is previously provided in the screw hole. Even if a female screw smaller than the diameter is cut, no harmful shavings are generated, the bolt 11 can be easily tightened manually, etc., and a sufficient frictional force as a detent can be exhibited. Any material can be used. In addition to the flat plate material, the metal plate material may be a plate material having blade pieces around the hole as described in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-68310.

Further, the nut 23 and the bolt temporary fixing member 24 may be insert-molded in the synthetic resin terminal block body (15), or the nut 23 and the bolt temporary fixing member 24 may be made of synthetic resin. The terminal block main body (15) may be integrally formed. The nut 23 and the bolt 11 may be made of synthetic resin instead of metal. In particular, by integrally forming the bolt temporary fixing member 24 into the synthetic resin terminal block main body (15), the number of parts and the number of assembling steps are reduced, and the nut is temporarily fixed by the integral bolt temporary fixing member 24. It is supported stably without tilting. It is also possible to provide a bolt 24 temporarily fixing member 24 on the lower end surface (back surface or bolt through surface) 23c of the nut 23 by means of adhesion or attachment.

It is also possible to arrange the bolt temporary fixing member 24 not on the lower side of the nut 23 (the back side or the rear side in the bolt insertion direction) but on the upper side of the nut 23 (the front side or the front side in the bolt insertion direction). In this case, the bolt 11 is first screwed or pressed into the bolt temporary fixing member 24 and then screwed into the nut 23. However, in this case, the bolt temporary fixing workability is slightly reduced as compared with the case where the bolt 11 is first screwed into the nut 23 and is screwed into the bolt temporary fixing member 24 with the momentum. In either case, the bolt temporary fixing member 24 and the nut 23 are prevented from rotating inside the terminal block 15.
