Abstract
Description
本発明の特徴を実現する電源は、前述のデュアル入力供給電圧構成を備えている。比較器が、直列接続トランジスタにより発生される出力電圧の大きさを検知する。超過電流状態の結果として、出力電圧が基準閾値レベルよりも低くなったときは、高い方の出力電圧18Vを選択しようとしても自動的に優先され、その代わり、低い方の入力供給電圧が、直列接続トランジスタ(図示せず)の入力主電流導通端子で発生する。この動作は、有利なことに、直列接続トランジスタが消費する電力の最大量を低減する。
Claims (9)
- 通信装置のための電源であって、
第1のアンテナ信号を選択しようとする時および第2のアンテナ信号を選択しようとする時を示す第1の制御信号の源と、
前記第1の制御信号に応答して、前記第1の制御信号に従って選択された値の出力供給電圧を生成するパワー・トランジスタであって、前記出力供給電圧は前記通信装置の段に結合されて、第1の値の前記出力供給電圧が生成されたときは、前記第1のアンテナ信号が選択され、第2の値の前記出力供給電圧が生成されたときは、前記第2のアンテナ信号が選択されるパワー・トランジスタと、
前記第1の制御信号に応答する、前記パワー・トランジスタの入力に結合されたスイッチであって、前記第1のアンテナ信号が選択されたときは、前記スイッチの第1の切換え状態で、第1の入力供給電圧が前記入力で発生するように選択し、前記第2のアンテナ信号が選択されたときは、前記スイッチの第2の切換え状態で、第2の入力供給電圧が前記入力で発生するように選択するスイッチと、
前記スイッチに結合された障害検出器であって、前記第2のアンテナ信号が選択されていて障害状態が発生したときは、前記スイッチの切換え状態を変更して、前記第2の入力供給電圧とは異なる入力供給電圧が前記入力で発生するよう選択されるようにする障害検出器と、を備える電源。 - 前記出力供給電圧は、前記パワー・トランジスタの第1の主電流導通端子で発生し、前記第1および第2の入力供給電圧は、それぞれ前記パワー・トランジスタの第2の主電流導通端子で選択的に発生して直列接続レギュレータが形成される、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 正常動作では、前記第1のアンテナ信号が選択されたとき、前記パワー・トランジスタの前記第1と第2の主電流導通端子間の電圧差を小さくするように、小さい方の前記出力供給電圧が生成され、前記第2の入力供給電圧よりも小さい前記第1の入力供給電圧が前記パワー・トランジスタの前記入力で発生するように選択される、請求項2に記載の電源。
- 正常動作では、前記第2のアンテナ信号が選択されたとき、大きい方の前記出力供給電圧が生成され、前記第1の入力供給電圧よりも大きい前記第2の入力供給電圧が前記パワー・トランジスタの前記入力で発生するように選択され、前記障害状態が発生したときは、前記パワー・トランジスタの前記第1と第2の主電流導通端子間の電圧差を小さくするために、前記第2の入力供給電圧の代わりに前記第1の入力供給電圧が前記パワー・トランジスタの前記第2の主電流導通端子で発生するように選択される、請求項2に記載の電源。
- 前記出力供給電圧を負帰還方式で調整するために、前記パワー・トランジスタに結合されたレギュレータを更に備える、請求項2に記載の電源。
- 前記障害検出器は、比較器を備え、
前記比較器は、前記出力供給電圧に応答して第2の制御信号を生成し、
前記第2の制御信号は、前記スイッチに結合されて、前記出力供給電圧が正常動作範囲の値を外れているときに前記スイッチの切換え状態を変更する、請求項1に記載の電源。 - 前記第1および第2の制御信号はそれぞれ、論理関数を実現する段を介して前記スイッチに結合される、請求項6に記載の電源。
- 前記第1の制御信号は、前記第2の制御信号に応答するマイクロプロセッサ中で生成される、請求項6に記載の電源。
- 前記スイッチは、第2のトランジスタを備え、
前記第2のトランジスタの主電流導通端子の対の間には電力抵抗が結合され、
前記第2のトランジスタが、導通切換え状態のとき、前記抵抗はバイパスされ、前記入力で発生する電圧は、前記第2のトランジスタが非導通切換え状態であり、前記抵抗が電力を消費するときよりも高い、請求項1に記載の電源。
