Abstract
【解決手段】自動車の運用状況、例えば、自動車の使用頻度、自動車の使用時間、運転時のエンジン回転数、及び/または電装品の消費電流等の情報を収集し、当該運用状況に応じてオルタネータ23の出力電圧(充電電圧)を調整演算し、この調整演算された出力電圧を実現するようオルタネータ23を制御する。自動車の運用状況に応じてバッテリ25の残充電量を適正に維持できる。したがって、バッテリ25の劣化を確実に防止でき、バッテリ25の長寿命化を図ることができる。

Description
図1は本発明の一の実施形態に係る車両電源制御装置を示すブロック図である。この車両電源制御装置は、図1の如く、ユーザーによって異なる自動車の運用状況から走行パターン等を学習する機能を有した電子制御ユニット(ECU)21であって、その学習結果に応じてオルタネータ23の出力電圧を制御することで、バッテリ25の適正な残充電量を確保するものである。
上記構成の車両電源制御装置の動作を説明する。まず、自動車のイグニションスイッチ31がオンになると、電子制御ユニット21は、通信機能37を通じてその旨(イグニションスイッチ31のオンオフ状況)、エンジン回転計33で計測されたエンジン回転数、及び電装品用電流センサー35で検出されたオーディオやランプ等の各種電装品に供給される電流値等の車両情報を、例えば1秒毎等の定期的に収集する(車両情報収集工程)。

Claims (6)
- オルタネータの出力電圧を調整して自動車におけるバッテリへの充電制御を行う車両電源制御装置であって、
前記自動車の運用状況を収集する第1の手段と、
当該運用状況に応じて前記オルタネータの出力電圧を調整演算する第2の手段と
を備える車両電源制御装置。 - 発電機と当該発電機からの出力電圧を調整するレギュレータとを有する自動車のオルタネータに対して、前記レギュレータの出力電圧を調整してバッテリへの充電制御を行う車両電源制御装置であって、
前記自動車の運用状況を収集する第1の手段と、
当該運用状況に応じて前記オルタネータの出力電圧を調整演算する第2の手段と、
前記第2の手段で調整演算された出力電圧を実現するよう前記レギュレータを制御する第3の手段と
を備える車両電源制御装置。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の車両電源制御装置であって、
前記運用状況が、少なくとも自動車の使用頻度を含む、車両電源制御装置。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の車両電源制御装置であって、
前記運用状況が、少なくとも自動車の使用時間を含む、車両電源制御装置。 - 請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の車両電源制御装置であって、
前記運用状況が、少なくとも運転時のエンジン回転数を含む、車両電源制御装置。 - 請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の車両電源制御装置であって、
前記運用状況が、少なくとも電装品の消費電流を含む、車両電源制御装置。
