Abstract
【解決手段】光が導入される光導波板38と、該光導波板38に対向して複数のアクチュエータ部34が平面的に配列された駆動部36と、光導波板38と駆動部36との間に形成された変位伝達部39と、変位伝達部39上に形成された光散乱層80とを有し、駆動部36による選択的な光導波板38への接触・離隔によって、光導波板38からの漏光を出射光として制御する照明装置10Aと、該照明装置10Aからの出射光を変調して画像を表示する液晶パネル12とを有する表示装置において、光導波板38と対向する変位伝達部39の少なくとも一部に光反射層300を形成する。

Claims (9)
- 光が導入される光導波板と、
前記光導波板に対向して複数のアクチュエータ部が平面的に配列された駆動部と、
前記光導波板と前記駆動部との間に形成された変位伝達部と、
前記変位伝達部上に形成された光散乱層とを有し、
前記駆動部による選択的な前記光導波板への接触・離隔によって、前記光導波板からの漏光を出射光として制御する照明装置と、
前記照明装置からの出射光を変調して画像を表示する光変調装置とを有する表示装置であって、
前記光導波板と対向する前記駆動部の上部に光反射層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 光が導入される光導波板と、
前記光導波板に対向して複数のアクチュエータ部が平面的に配列された駆動部と、
前記光導波板と前記駆動部との間に形成された変位伝達部と、
前記変位伝達部上に形成された光散乱層とを有し、
前記駆動部による選択的な前記光導波板への接触・離隔によって、前記光導波板からの漏光を出射光として制御する照明装置と、
前記照明装置からの出射光を変調して画像を表示する光変調装置とを有する表示装置であって、
前記光導波板と対向する前記変位伝達部の少なくとも一部に光反射層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項2記載の表示装置において、
前記光導波板と対向する前記変位伝達部の少なくとも一部に形成された前記光反射層上に、前記変位伝達部上に形成された前記光散乱層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 光が導入される光導波板と、
前記光導波板に対向して複数のアクチュエータ部が平面的に配列された駆動部と、
前記光導波板と前記駆動部との間に形成された変位伝達部と、
前記変位伝達部上に形成された光散乱層とを有し、
前記駆動部による選択的な前記光導波板への接触・離隔によって、前記光導波板からの漏光を出射光として制御する照明装置と、
前記照明装置からの出射光を変調して画像を表示する光変調装置とを有する表示装置であって、
前記光導波板と対向する前記駆動部の少なくとも一部に光反射層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項4記載の表示装置において、
前記光導波板と対向する前記変位伝達部の少なくとも一部に光反射層が形成され、該光反射層上に前記変位伝達部上に形成された前記光散乱層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 光が導入される光導波板と、
前記光導波板に対向して複数のアクチュエータ部が平面的に配列された駆動部と、
前記光導波板と前記駆動部との間に形成された変位伝達部と、
前記変位伝達部上に形成された光散乱層とを有し、
前記駆動部による選択的な前記光導波板への接触・離隔によって、前記光導波板からの漏光を出射光として制御する照明装置と、
前記照明装置からの出射光を変調して画像を表示する光変調装置とを有する表示装置であって、
前記駆動部と前記光導波板との間にスペーサが形成され、
前記光導波板と対向する前記スペーサの少なくとも一部に光反射層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項6記載の表示装置において、
前記光導波板と対向する前記変位伝達部の少なくとも一部に光反射層が形成され、該光反射層上に前記変位伝達部上に形成された前記光散乱層が形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置において、
前記照明装置と光変調装置との間に、光学シートを有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置において、
前記光変調装置は、液晶層を前面パネルと背面パネルで挟んだ構造を有する液晶パネルであることを特徴とする表示装置。
