Description

The present invention relates to an attachment structure between an adapter and a fixing member, and more particularly to an attachment structure between an adapter for connecting signal cable connectors and a fixing member for fixing the adapter.

In recent years, a signal cable using a communication optical fiber has been widely used from a signal cable using a copper wire in accordance with an increasing amount of data transmitted through the signal cable. Unlike the copper signal line, this optical fiber cable requires an adapter for connection, and this adapter is formed in a rectangular tube shape, and by inserting a connector attached to the tip of the optical fiber cable from the openings at both ends, The tip of an optical fiber cable is made to oppose and a signal can be transmitted (for example, patent document 1).
JP 2002-243978 A

The problem to be solved by the present invention is that in the above-mentioned adapter, in order to fix the adapter to the fixing member, a protruding portion is provided on both sides, and a hole through which a screw is inserted is formed in the protruding portion. The overhanging part can be fixed by screwing it to the fixing member. However, as the downsizing of each device progresses, the overhanging part is an obstacle to fit this adapter in the device (for example, optical outlet). It was a point to become.

The present invention solves the above-described problems, eliminates an extra protruding portion from the adapter and the fixing member, facilitates accommodation in the apparatus, and can be miniaturized, and fixes the adapter to the fixing member. It is an object of the present invention to provide a mounting structure of an adapter and a fixing member that does not require parts (bolts, nuts, etc.) and can improve work efficiency.

In order to solve the above problems, the mounting structure of the adapter and the fixing member according to the present invention has the following requirements for connecting an adapter for connecting the connectors of the signal cable to the fixing member.
(B) The adapter is detachable from the fixing member. (B) A fitting groove is formed on the surface of the fixing member, and a fitting protrusion to be fitted into the fitting groove is formed on the bottom surface of the adapter. Being formed

A second fitting groove is formed on the surface of the fixing member perpendicular to the fitting groove. The second fitting groove engages with the fitting shaft of the adapter to fix the adapter. A lock member to be fixed on the member may be fitted so that the adapter does not come off the fixing member.

Then, an engaging groove for engaging the lock member may be formed in the fitting protrusion formed on the bottom surface of the adapter so that the adapter can be more securely fixed to the fixing member.

The signal cable connected by the adapter may be an optical fiber cable.

According to the first aspect of the invention, the adapter can be fixed to the fixing member by simply fitting the fitting protrusion formed on the bottom surface of the adapter into the fitting groove formed on the surface of the fixing member. Since the mechanism for fixing can be fixed without projecting to the outside, the size can be reduced and the device can be easily accommodated in the device.

According to the invention of claim 2, the adapter once attached to the fixing member is not easily detached by engaging the lock member with the fitting protrusion formed on the bottom surface of the adapter.

According to the invention of claim 3, the adapter can be more securely fixed on the fixing member by engaging the lock member with the engaging recess.

According to invention of Claim 4, the adapter which connected the connector of the optical fiber cable can be fixed to a fixing member.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[First embodiment and its modifications]
1 to 8 are diagrams showing a first embodiment of the present invention and its modification.
In FIG. 1, the code | symbol 1 shows the adapter which connects the connectors 3 of the signal cable 2, and the code | symbol 5 has shown the fixing member to which the said adapter 1 is attached. The tip of the optical fiber cable 2 and the ferrule 6 are connected and fixed inside the columnar connector 3, and the tip of the ferrule 6 built in from the front end of the connector 3 protrudes, and an adapter described later is provided on the upper surface. A key 8 that engages with a guide groove 7 formed on the upper surface of 1 and restricts the orientation of the connector 3 with respect to the adapter 1 is formed to protrude, and hooks 10 disposed inside the adapter 1 are engaged with both side surfaces, A locking recess 11 for fixing the connector 3 in the adapter 1 is formed.

The adapter 1 is for connecting the connectors 3 by inserting the connector 3 from both sides, and is formed in a substantially rectangular tube shape. Although the details of the internal structure are omitted, as shown in the sectional view of FIG. The hook 10 is formed in the connector 3 so as to be engaged with the engaging recess 11 of the inserted connector 3 to fix the connector 3 to the adapter 1. Guide grooves 7 for guiding the key 8 of the connector 3 are provided at both longitudinal ends of the upper surface. Is formed.

On both ends of the adapter 1 in the longitudinal direction on the back side, fitting protrusions 16 for fitting into fitting grooves 15 formed on the fixing member 5 are formed (see FIG. 4C). The fitting protrusion 16 is formed with an inverted trapezoidal engaging groove 17 orthogonal to the central portion, and a locking member 20 described later is engaged with the engaging groove 17.

The fixing member 5 is for attaching the adapter 1, and as shown in FIG. 5, the fixing member 5 is formed in a plate shape, and a fitting groove 15 into which the fitting protrusion 16 of the adapter 1 is fitted in the center of the surface. The second fitting groove 18 is formed perpendicular to the fitting groove 15. The fitting groove 15 and the second fitting groove 18 are constituted by dovetail grooves, the fitting groove 15 is opened on both sides of the fixing member 5, and the second fitting groove 18 is formed on one end side of the fixing member 5. It is open and formed in a cross shape as a whole.

The second fitting groove 18 is formed with a stopper 21 that engages with a lock member 20 to be described later and positions the lock member 20. The stopper 21 is composed of a section formed on the bottom surface of the second fitting groove 18 so as to be bent in a U shape in the longitudinal direction and bent up and down, and the distal end portion of the section 21 is engaged with the top surface. A protrusion 21 a is formed to protrude, and the engagement protrusion 21 a is selectively engaged with a temporary fixing recess 22 formed on the back surface of the lock member 20 and a retaining recess 23.

Next, the attachment aspect which attaches the adapter 1 of the said structure to the fixing member 5 is demonstrated.

First, as shown in FIG. 6A, the lock member 20 is inserted into the second fitting groove 18 of the fixing member 5, and is inserted until the temporary fixing recess 22 is engaged with the engagement protrusion 21 a of the stopper 21. Then, the lock member 20 is set on the fixing member 5 (see FIG. 6B).

Next, as shown in FIG. 6 (b), the fitting protrusion 16 formed on the back surface of the adapter 1 is inserted into the fitting groove 15 of the fixing member 5, and is formed at the center portion of the fitting protrusion 16. The engaging groove 17 is inserted to a position corresponding to the second fitting groove 18. Thereafter, when the lock member 20 is pushed in until the retaining recess 23 of the lock member 20 is engaged with the engagement protrusion 21 a of the stopper 21, the tip of the lock member 20 passes through the engagement groove 17 of the adapter 1. It is stable and the adapter 1 can be fixed on the fixing member 5 (see FIG. 6C).

Next, a description will be given of a case where a plurality of adapters 1 for connecting a set of cables 2 can be fixed to a fixing member in a state where they are juxtaposed. FIG. 7A shows a case where two adapters 1 are arranged side by side and fixed to the fixing member 5 ′, and FIG. 7B shows a rear side perspective view of the adapter 1.

The fixing member 5 ′ is formed with a fitting groove 15 ′ having a length corresponding to two horizontal widths of the adapter 1, one end opening on the side surface of the fixing member 5 ′, and the other end terminating on the fixing member. The second fitting groove 18 ′ is formed so as not to be opened, and the second fitting groove 18 ′ may be formed at a position corresponding to the engaging groove 17 of the adapter 1 attached to the opening end side of the fitting groove 15. .

When the adapter 1 is fixed to the fixing member 5 ′, the lock member 20 is inserted in advance into the second fitting groove 18 ′ of the fixing member 5 ′ in the same manner as when the adapter 1 is fixed to the fixing member 5. The temporary fixing recess 22 is inserted until it engages with the engaging protrusion 21a of the stopper 21, the lock member 20 is set on the fixing member 5 ', and the fitting formed on the back surface of the first adapter 1a. The protrusion 16 is inserted into the fitting groove 15 ′ of the fixing member 5 ′, and is pushed in until the fitting protrusion 16 hits the terminal end 15a ′ of the fitting groove 15 ′.

Further, the fitting protrusion 16 formed on the back surface of the second adapter 1 b is inserted into the fitting groove 15 ′ of the fixing member 5 ′, and the engaging groove 17 formed in the center portion of the fitting protrusion 16. Is inserted to a position corresponding to the second fitting groove 18 '. Thereafter, when the lock member 20 is pushed in until the retaining recess 23 of the lock member 20 is engaged with the engagement protrusion 21 a of the stopper 21, the tip of the lock member 20 passes through the engagement groove 17 of the adapter 1. The adapter 1b can be fixed on the fixing member 5 ′, and two adapters can be fixed on the fixing member.

In addition, although the said fixing member 5 'demonstrated the case where the adapter 1 which connects one set of cables could be fixed in the state where it juxtaposed, the adapter which can connect a plurality of sets of cables can be fixed to a fixing member. You may do it.

FIG. 8A shows a perspective view when the adapter 1 ′ for connecting two sets of cables is fixed to the fixing member 5 ″, and FIG. 8B shows a rear perspective view of the adapter 1 ′.

When the adapter 1 ′ is fixed to the fixing member 5 ″, the fitting protrusion formed on the bottom surface of the adapter 1 ′ is the same as when the adapter 1 for connecting the pair of cables 2 is attached to the fixing member 5. The portion 16 ′ may be inserted into the fitting groove 15 ″ of the fixing member 5 ″, and the lock member 20 may be pushed into the engaging groove 17 ″ formed in the fitting protrusion 16 ″.

Although the above-described adapter has been described with respect to the case where the signal cable is configured with an optical fiber cable, the signal cable is not limited to an optical fiber, and may be an electric cable. Further, although the optical fiber cable connector has been described as an SC type optical connector, it may be an MT type or MU type optical connector.

[Second Embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
The adapter 30 (optical fiber adapter) has a cylindrical configuration as shown in FIG. 9, and a connector connecting portion 31 is formed in the hollow portion. As shown in FIG. 10, the adapter 30 can insert the connector portions 61 of the optical fiber 60 from the opposite directions, and optically connect the connector portions 61 optically at the connector connecting portion 31. It has a function as a connecting member.

As shown in FIGS. 9B, 9C, and 9G, fitting protrusions 32 having wedges on both sides are formed on the outer rear surface of the adapter 30. As shown in FIG. The fitting protrusion 32 extends in the vertical direction of FIG. 9G, and a locking claw 33 that is elastically bent protrudes from the center of the back surface.

On the other hand, dovetail-like fitting grooves 51 are formed on the surface of the fixing member 50 to which the adapter 30 is mounted, as shown in FIGS. The fitting groove 51 can form a fitting state by fitting and sliding the fitting protrusion 32 of the adapter 30 from one end side.

A notch engaging portion 52 is formed at the center of the bottom surface of the fitting groove 51. When the fitting protrusion 32 is slidably fitted into the fitting groove 51, the locking claw 33 of the adapter 30 is engaged with the notch engaging portion 52, and the fitting protrusion 32 is free from the fitting groove 51. The loose omission is regulated (see FIG. 9 (h)). In addition, the notch engaging part 52 has penetrated the back surface of the fixing member 50, and the engagement state of the locking claw 33 with respect to the notch engaging part 52 is released by pushing out the locking claw 33 from the back surface side. Can do.

[Third Embodiment]
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
In this embodiment, a plastic optical fiber 70 generally called POF is used as a signal cable (see FIG. 12), a connector portion 71 provided at one end of the optical fiber 70, and an adapter 30 for connecting the connector portion 71. Has a structure suitable for such an optical fiber 70 for POF. In general, the POF optical fiber 70 is used for LAN wiring for connecting between rooms in a house or between devices.
