【解決手段】アスファルトと骨材とを含んだ遮水工におけるアスファルト組成物において、骨材の全部又は一部を溶融スラグにより構成した。

(2)アスファルト組成物による遮水工を斜面に適用する場合、アスファルト量が増すと所謂ダレ現象が発生する。このようなダレ現象を押さえるためには、アスファルト量を少なくする必要があるが、遮水性の面で問題が生ずる。
(3)アスファルト量が増すほど材料が軟らかくなるため、取り扱いが難しくなる。
(4)当然ながら、アスファルト量が増すと材料費は高くなる。
また、水冷スラグは溶融スラグを水冷により破砕したもので、5mm目の篩を通過したものを細骨材として用いる。
これに対し、図1(b)は、本発明におけるスラグ骨材粒子4とアスファルト2との結合形態を示す模式図であり、スラグ骨材粒子4は、アスファルト2との結合力が一般骨材粒子よりも弱いため、その間隙にアスファルト2が充填された状態でスラグ骨材粒子4の間を結合している。

Claims (3)
- アスファルトと骨材とを含んだ遮水工におけるアスファルト組成物において、
前記骨材の全部又は一部を溶融スラグにより構成したことを特徴とする遮水工におけるアスファルト組成物。 - 粗骨材の全部又は一部を適当な粒度分布の空冷スラグにより構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の遮水工におけるアスファルト組成物。
- 細骨材の全部又は一部を適当な粒度分布の空冷スラグ又は水冷スラグにより構成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の遮水工におけるアスファルト組成物。
