Abstract
【解決手段】 少なくとも1つの薄膜磁気ヘッド素子を備えた磁気ヘッドスライダと、磁気ヘッドスライダが固着された導電性を有するサスペンションとを備えており、磁気ヘッドスライダとサスペンションとの間の導通抵抗値が1MΩ以上である。

Description
磁気ヘッドスライダと磁気ディスク間に蓄えられたエネルギECは、放電(EP)と導通抵抗の熱(ER)で消費される。磁気ヘッドスライダとフレクシャ(サスペンション)間の導通抵抗が小さいなら放電エネルギEPが大きくなり、導通抵抗が大きいなら放電エネルギEPが小さくなる。即ち、磁気ヘッドスライダとフレクシャ(サスペンション)間の導通抵抗を大きくした方が、放電はしなくなるのである。

Claims (8)
- 少なくとも1つの薄膜磁気ヘッド素子を備えた磁気ヘッドスライダと、該磁気ヘッドスライダが固着された導電性を有するサスペンションとを備えており、前記磁気ヘッドスライダと前記サスペンションとの間の導通抵抗値が1MΩ以上であることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダを搭載したヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 前記導通抵抗値が500MΩ以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 前記磁気ヘッドスライダと前記サスペンションとの間に導電性ペーストが介在していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 前記磁気ヘッドスライダと前記サスペンションとの間に導電性接着剤が介在していることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 前記磁気ヘッドスライダと前記サスペンションとの間に絶縁性接着剤が介在していることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 前記サスペンションが、弾性を有する金属製のフレクシャと、該フレクシャを支持する金属製のロードビームとを備えており、前記磁気ヘッドスライダが該フレクシャ上に固着されていることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの薄膜磁気ヘッド素子が、巨大磁気抵抗効果又はトンネル磁気抵抗効果を利用した磁気抵抗効果ヘッド素子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリ。
- 少なくとも1つの請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のヘッドジンバルアセンブリと、少なくとも1つの磁気ディスクとを備えたことを特徴とする磁気ディスク装置。
