Abstract

本発明は、墨出し用レーザ光線を照射可能な光線照射装置を搭載した携帯用切断機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
モータ1により回転される回転刃物2の外周部および側面部は、作業者が回転刃物2に誤って接触するのを防止するためと、切断時に発生する粉じんの飛散防止を目的に、切断作業に必要な回転刃物2の露出部と回転刃物2の交換に必要な開口部を除きホイルガード3で覆われている。該ホイルガード3の開放部で切断作業に必要な回転刃物2の露出部近傍にはベース4が配設されている。該ベース4は回転刃物2がベース4からの突出量を可変することができるようにホイルガード3に対してねじa5で係止され、該ねじa5を固定することにより被切断材6に対して切込み深さ(矢印C寸法)を一定に保った切断作業を行うことができる。

作業者は、前記ベース4の底面を被切断材6の上面に当接するまで回転刃物2を被切断材6に押し込み、回転刃物2の回転方向(矢印E方向)と同一方向(矢印F方向)に向けて携帯用切断機を押して切断作業を行う。このような方向(矢印F方向)に押しながら切断すると、回転刃物2は被切断材6に食い込みやすく切断作業がやりやすい。実際には作業者が携帯用切断機を用いて切断作業をする場合、図6に示すように被切断材6上にケガキ線14を描き、ケガキ線14に回転刃物2の刃先部を合わせながら切断作業を行うのが一般的である。回転刃物2で被切断材6を切断する時に発生する被切断材6の切削粉じん13は、図4で示すように、回転刃物2が被切断材6の内部から空間に開放される位置から回転刃物2の円周接線方向に慣性力により飛散する。このため回転刃物2の回転方向(矢印E方向)と同一方向(矢印F方向)に向けて携帯用切断機を押しながら切断作業を行うと、切削粉じん13は被切断材6上に描かれたケガキ線14と作業者の目15の間の空間に飛散することになる。このような状態で作業をすると、ケガキ線14が見えにくく、また飛散粉じん13は被切断材6上に堆積するので、ケガキ線14が更に見えにくくなくなるという問題があった。ケガキ線14が見えにくくなるのを嫌い、回転刃物2の回転方向(矢印E方向)と反対方向(矢印G方向)に携帯用切断機を引いて切断作業を行う作業者もいる。このような方向(矢印G方向)に引きながら切断すると、回転刃物2から発生する切削粉じん13は切断機を引く方向と逆方向に飛散するのでケビキ線14が良く見える長所がある。但し、回転刃物2の回転方向(矢印E方向)と反対方向(矢印G方向)に切断作業を行うと、回転刃物2が被切断材6に食い込みにくく、切断機が浮き上がりやすくなるため操作性が悪くなるという問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ケガキ線に合わせた切断作業を行なうためには、切断作業時に回転刃物とケガキ線を合わせるのが必要不可欠な条件であるが、被切断材から発生する切削粉じんは回転刃物が被切断材の内部から空間に開放される位置から回転刃物の円周部接線方向に慣性力により飛散するため、回転刃物の回転方向と同一方向に向けて切断作業を行うと、切削粉じんによりケガキ線が見にくくなるという問題があった。また、回転刃物の回転方向と反対方向に向けて切断作業を行うと、切削粉じんがケガキ線上に飛散しないのでケガキ線が良く見えるという長所があるが、回転方向と逆方向に回転刃物を進めるために回転刃物が被切断材に食い込みにくくなり切断作業性が悪くなるという問題があった。

本発明の目的は、上記問題を解消し、被切断材上に描かれたケガキ線などの切断目印に合わせた切断作業を容易に行わせると共に、回転刃物が被切断材に食い込む方向に切断を行うことで作業性の良い工具を提供することにある。

モータ1により回転される回転刃物2の外周部および側面部は、切断作業に必要な回転刃物2の露出部と回転刃物2の交換に必要な開口部を除きホイルガード3で覆われている。該ホイルガード3の開放部で切断作業に必要な回転刃物2の露出部近傍にはベース4が配設されている。該ベース4は回転刃物2がベース4からの突出量(矢印C寸法)を可変することができるようにホイルガード3に対してねじa5で係止され、ねじa5を緩めるとベース4からの回転刃物2の突出量を調整でき、ねじa5を固定することにより突出量を固定することができるので、被切断材6に対して切込み深さを一定に保った切断作業を行うことができる。

前記ベース4には光線照射装置7を固定するためのベースフット8が突設され、光線照射装置7は被切断材6とベース4の接触面にほぼ平行な面に対して回転刃物2の切断方向延長線9と平行となる仮想直線10上に2点以上の墨出し用レーザー光線11(または連続な直線)を照射するように配置する。

本発明によれば、光線照射装置から照射される墨出し用レーザ光線を回転刃物の切断方向延長線から外した位置のケガキ線等に合わせて切断作業を行うことができるので、回転刃物で被切断材を切断する時に発生する被切断材の切削粉じんの飛散によりケガキ線が見えにくくならない。このため回転刃物の回転方向と同一方向に向けて携帯用切断機を押しながら切断作業が行えるので、回転刃物が被切断材に食い込み易く作業性の良い携帯用電動切断工具を提供することができるようになる。
