モジュール50のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する溶液を製造するために、2.8gのカリウム水ガラス(カリウム水ガラス35、Cognis Deutschland GmbH)を例1に示したように19.9gの50%濃度のシリカゾル(Levasil(R)50/50%、H.C. Starck GmbH)及び14.0gの脱イオン水と混合する。これにより30.0質量%のケイ酸質バインダー固体の含量を有する溶液が得られる。
バーキュミライトとモジュール6を有する第一のバインダー並びにモジュール50を有する第二のバインダーとを有する本発明による成形体の製造
100質量部の、約1mmの平均粒度を有するバーミキュライト(Vermiculit SFX, Micronized Products (PTY) Ltd)を20質量部の、例1による第一のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する溶液(モジュール6及び固体含量30質量%を有するアルカリ金属ケイ酸塩水溶液)とキッチンマシン(Braun Multipraktic 120、作業装置:泡立て器)を用いて混合する。適当な均質化が5分後に達成される。
第一のバインダーとしての35%濃度のカリウム水ガラス(Cognis Deutschland GmbH)及び第二のバインダーとしてのLevasil(R)300/30%(H.C. Starck GmbH)を使用する、バーミキュライトからの本発明による成形体の製造
100質量部のSFXバーミキュライトを例3の手順に従って20質量部のカリウム水ガラス35と混合し、かつ圧縮成形し、かつ乾燥させ、Levasil(R)300/30%中に浸し、かつ最後に乾燥させる。
約55%の固体含量を有する高濃度のカリウム水ガラスの製造
2500gの水酸化カリウム(小板、>85%)及び430gの水を6リットルの三口フラスコ中で混合し、かつ冷却及び激しい撹拌の中で、5130gのLevasil(R)50/50%(H.C. Starck GmbH)で処理する。
第一のバインダーとしての高濃度のカリウム水ガラス及び第二のバインダーとしてのLevasil(R)300/30%を使用する、バーミキュライトからの本発明による成形体の製造
例3及び4による手順によって、高い機械的強度(>20kp)及び非常に良好な耐水性(100日後の最初の粒子の放出、最終破壊>100日)を有する成形体(成形体の全質量に対して19質量%のバインダー含量)が得られる。該成形体は不燃性であり、かつ発煙しない。
モジュール10を有する第一のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する溶液の製造
モジュール10のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する溶液を製造するために57.0gのカリウム水ガラス(カリウム水ガラス35、Cognis Deutschland GmbH)を99.9gの30%濃度のシリカゾル(Levasil(R)300/30%、H.C. Starck GmbH)とマグネチックスターラーを使用して20℃で1分間混合する。これにより33.0質量%の固体ケイ酸質バインダーの含量を有する溶液が得られる。
第一のバインダーとしてのモジュール10を有するケイ酸質バインダー及び第二のバインダーとしてのLevasil(R)300/30%を使用する、雲母からの本発明による成形体の製造
低い粒度(60メッシュ、Micronized Products Pty)を有する60質量部の雲母を、例3の手順に従って、例7による第一のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する25質量部の溶液(モジュール10を有し、かつ33質量%の固体含量を有するアルカリ金属ケイ酸塩の水溶液)と混合し、かつ圧縮成形し、かつ乾燥させ、Levasil(R)300/30%中で飽和させ、かつ最後に乾燥させる。
比較の目的のために、成形体をバーミキュライトとカリウム水ガラス35又はナトリウム水ガラス37/40(Cognis Deutschland GmbH)及びこれらと10質量%以下の市販のポリアクリレート、例えばMowilith DM 60(Celanese AG)を有機バインダー成分として含有する混合物とから、後処理せずに製造する。
100質量部のバーミキュライト(例3と同じ型)を、例3と同様に、20質量部のカリウム水ガラス35(Cognis Deutschland GmbH、35%の固体含量、約3.4のモジュール)と混合する。圧縮成形及び乾燥は例3と同様に行う。後処理は存在しない。
100質量部のバーミキュライト(例3と同じ型)を40質量部の、カリウム水ガラス35及びMowilith DM 60の1:1混合物と混合する。方法を比較例1と同様に継続する。
更なる比較のために、成形体を第一のバインダー及び第二のバインダーとしてカリウム水ガラス又はナトリウム水ガラスを使用してバーミキュライトから製造する。
更なる比較のために、成形体を後処理せずにモジュール10を有するバインダーを使用して雲母から製造する。
Claims (9)
- 成形体の製造方法において、ケイ酸質固体を第一のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する溶液と混合し、かつ該混合物を次いで圧縮成形し、かつ該圧縮成形物を次いで第二のケイ酸質バインダーを含有する溶液で後処理することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法により得られる成形体。
- 成形体の全質量に対して2〜60質量%のケイ酸質バインダーの全含量を有し、かつ成形体の全質量に対して60〜98質量%のケイ酸質固体の含量を有することを特徴とする成形体。
- 実質的にケイ酸質成分からなることを特徴とする成形体。
- 遮断材料又は防火材料としての、請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の成形体の使用。
- 請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の1種以上の成形体を含有することを特徴とする遮断材料又は防火材料。
- 他の遮断材料のための支持パネルとしての、請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の成形体の使用。
- 請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の1種以上の成形体を含有することを特徴とする支持パネル。
- 鋳造工業における又は高温ガスケットとしての、請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の成形体の使用。
