Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper with excellent wearing comfortableness which enables a user to easily fasten the side of a diaper fastening part on a waist band part or a site adjacent thereto by smoothly pulling it out in either of a method of fastening the waist band part on the back side of a wearing person or a method of applying it on the belly side of the wearing person. <P>SOLUTION: In the disposable diaper 1, left and right waist band parts 10 are fastened on the belly side or back side of the wearing person with a band fastening part 11 and the back side part B is fastened on the waist band parts 10 with a diaper fastening part 21 to wear. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ウエストバンド部を着用者の背側で止着する方法及び着用者の腹側で装着する方法の何れにおいても、おむつ止着部側をスムーズに引き出してウエストバンド部又はその隣接部位に容易に止着することができ、装着性に優れている使い捨ておむつに関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来、展開型の使い捨ておむつとして、液透過性の表面シート、液不透過性の裏面シート、及びこれら両シート間に介在する液保持性の吸収体を具備し、使用時に着用者の腹側に位置する腹側部及び背側に位置する背側部を有するおむつが広く用いられており、展開型の使い捨ておむつの中でも大人が立ったまま装着可能なものとして、上記背側部の左右両側縁にそれぞれウェストバンド部が連設され、左右の該ウェストバンド部の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部にバンド止着部が設けられていると共に上記腹側部の両側部におむつ止着部が設けられており、前記バンド止着部により、左右の該ウエストバンド部を着用者の腹側において止着した後、前記おむつ止着部により、前記腹側部を前記ウエストバンド部に止着して着用するようになしてあるものが知られている（特許文献１，２参照）。

このようなウエストバンド部を有する使い捨ておむつは、着用者が立位で自分で装着することができるという利点を有するものである。
しかし、介護の現場等においては、被介護者、特に自分で装着できない老人等に対して介護者が装着する場合があり、そのような場合、特に背中が曲がっている老人に対して装着する場合の操作は容易ではない。更に、装着の際に介護者に陰部を見られることに対して抵抗を感じる人もいる。

本発明者らは、このような事情に鑑み、おむつを装着する向きを従来とは逆にして装着することを検討したところ、逆向きに装着した場合には、ウエストバンド部を着用者の腹側において止着した後に、おむつ止着部側を、着用者の背側にスムーズに引き出すことが難しいことが判った。

尚、特許文献３には、吸収体を、人体に適合する幅の中央吸収部と、その外側に設けられた外側吸収部とから形成することにより、股間部の密着性を高め、それにより漏れ防止性能を向上させた使い捨ておむつが記載されている。
しかし、この使い捨ておむつは、ウエストバンド部を具備しないタイプのおむつであり、特許文献３には、ウエストバンド部を具備するタイプのおむつの装着性について何ら記載されていない。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、液透過性の表面シート、液不透過性の裏面シート及び両シート間に介在する液保持性の吸収体を具備し、長手方向の一方の部位における両側縁部に、それぞれウエストバンド部が連設され、左右の該ウエストバンド部の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部にバンド止着部が設けられていると共に、長手方向の他方の部位に、おむつ止着部が設けられており、前記バンド止着部により、左右の前記ウエストバンド部を着用者の腹側又は背側において止着した後、前記おむつ止着部により、前記他方の部位を、前記ウエストバンド部又はその隣接部位に止着して着用することができるようになしてある展開型の使い捨ておむつであって、股下部における前記吸収体に、該吸収体の長手方向の各側縁から離間させて一対の折曲補助手段が設けられており、前記使い捨ておむつの前記一対の折曲補助手段同士間に位置する中央吸収領域に、おむつ長手方向に沿って弾性部材が配設され、該中央吸収領域が自然状態において長手方向に収縮した状態とされている使い捨ておむつを提供することにより前記目的を達成したものである（以下、第１発明というときは、この発明をいう）。

また、本発明は、液透過性の表面シート、液不透過性の裏面シート及び両シート間に介在する液保持性の吸収体を具備し、長手方向の一方の部位における両側縁部に、それぞれウエストバンド部が連設され、左右の該ウエストバンド部の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部にバンド止着部が設けられていると共に、長手方向の他方の部位に、おむつ止着部が設けられており、前記バンド止着部により、左右の前記ウエストバンド部を着用者の腹側又は背側において止着した後、前記おむつ止着部により、前記他方の部位を、前記ウエストバンド部又はその隣接部位に止着して着用することができるようになしてある展開型の使い捨ておむつであって、股下部における前記吸収体に、該吸収体の長手方向の各側縁から離間させて一対の折曲補助手段が設けられており、前記使い捨ておむつの前記一対の折曲補助手段それぞれと前記吸収体の各側縁との間に位置する側部吸収領域に、おむつ長手方向に沿って弾性部材が配設され、該各側部吸収領域が、自然状態において長手方向に収縮した状態とされ、その収縮状態から２〜２０ｃｍ伸張可能である使い捨ておむつを提供することにより、前記目的を達成したものである（以下、第２発明というときは、この発明をいう）。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明をその好ましい実施形態に基づき図面を参照しながら説明する。
本発明（第１，第２発明）の一実施形態としての使い捨ておむつ１は、立ったままでも装着可能な成人用のおむつであり、図１及び図２に示されるように、液透過性の表面シート２、液不透過性の裏面シート３、及びこれら両シート２，３間に介在する液保持性の吸収体４を有しており、実質的に縦長に形成されている。実質的に縦長とは、ウエストバンド部を除く部分が縦長であれば良い。おむつの長手方向とは、ウエストバンド部を除く部分の長手方向と同方向である。

吸収体４は、表面シート２及び裏面シート３により挟持・固定されており、吸収体４の周縁部におけるウエスト部５とレッグ部６には、おむつ着用者に各部位をフィットさせるためのウエスト部弾性部材５１及びレッグ弾性部材６１が配設されている。
また、使い捨ておむつ１の長手方向左右両側には、それぞれ、弾性部材７１を有する立体ガード形成用シート７２が配されて立体ガード７が形成されている。
立体ガード７は、おむつ長手方向両端部において起立不可能に固定されており、固定された前記両端部間においては、弾性部材７１が配された一側縁側が起立可能になされている。

使い捨ておむつ１の長手方向の一方の部位Ａの左右両側縁部には、それぞれウェストバンド部１０，１０が連設されており、左右のウェストバンド部１０，１０の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部には、バンド止着部１１が設けられている（以下、おむつ１における、左右にウエストバンド部を有する前記長手方向の一方の部位Ａを、便宜的に腹側部という）。また、長手方向の他方の部位（以下、便宜的に背側部という）Ｂにおける両側部には、各々２つのおむつ止着部２１がおむつ長手方向に離間させて設けられたフラップ部２０を有している。
おむつの長手方向の一方の部位及び他方の部位は、概ね、おむつ長手方向の端縁それぞれからおむつ全長の１／３位迄の領域であり、こららの間の領域が股下部Ｃである。

前記各フラップ部２０には、図１に示すように、おむつ幅方向に伸縮する弾性伸縮部２２が形成されている。ここで、フラップ部２０は、背側部Ｂにおける、股下部Ｃの最小幅部分におけるおむつ両側縁の位置よりもおむつ幅方向の左右外方に延出する部分である。
本実施形態におけるフラップ部２０は、おむつ幅方向に伸縮する弾性伸縮部２２と、おむつ止着部２１が設けられた弾性伸縮性を有しない領域２４とからなる。各フラップ部２０は、弾性伸縮部２２及び該領域２４が連結された構成の複合シートを、背側部Ｂの本体部分における、裏面シート３及び立体ガード７形成用のシート材からなる左右両側縁部に、接着剤、ヒートシール、超音波シール等の公知の接合方法により接合して形成されている。

本実施形態における弾性伸縮部２２は、エラストマー材料からなるシートの片面又は両面に、おむつ幅方向に伸張可能な繊維集合体を積層して一体化してなる積層シートからなる。
エラストマー材料としては、天然ゴム、ブタジエン、イソプレン等の合成ゴム等が好ましく用いられる。エラストマー材料からなるシートとしては、エラストマー材料をフィルム化して得られる弾性フィルム、エラストマー材料からなる弾性繊維を、ネット状に成形したり不織布化したシート等が好ましく用いられる。
おむつ幅方向に伸張可能な繊維集合体としては、スリットの形成等の２次的な加工を施さなくてもそれ自体伸張性を有する不織布、例えばスパンデックスからなる不織布等や、それ自体は伸張性を有しないものにスリットの形成等の２次的な加工により伸張性を付与したもの等を用いることができる。
尚、フラップ部における前記領域２４を構成するシート材としては、使い捨ておむつ等に従来用いられている各種公知の不織布、例えばサーマルボンド不織布、ニードルパンチ不織布、スパンレース不織布等を用いることができる。

本実施形態のおむつ１においては、両ウェストバンド部１０それぞれにも、おむつ幅方向に伸縮する弾性伸縮部１２が形成されている。
両ウエストバンド部１０は、弾性伸縮部１２及び弾性伸縮性を有しない領域１３が連結された構成の複合シートを、腹側部Ａの本体部分における、裏面シート３及び立体ガード７形成用のシート材からなる左右両側縁部に、接着剤、ヒートシール、超音波シール等の公知の接合方法により接合して形成されている。弾性伸縮部１２及び前記領域１３は、それぞれ前記弾性伸縮部２２及び前記領域２４と同様のシート材を用いて形成することができる。
ウェストバンド部１０は、少なくとも裏面シート側の面が、機械的ファスナーの凸部材が直接係合可能な材料からなることが好ましい。そのようなシート材としては、不織布、例えばサーマルボンド不織布、ニードルパンチ不織布、スパンレース不織布等が挙げられる。
バンド止着部１１及びおむつ止着部２１，２１は、その表面に多数の錨形や鉤形のオス型係合部材が配された機械的ファスナーの凸部材により形成されていることが好ましく、機械的ファスナーの凸部材としては、例えば「マジックテープ（登録商標）」（クラレ社製）、「クイックロン（登録商標）」（ＹＫＫ社製）、「マジクロス（登録商標）」（カネボウベルタッチ社製）等の市販品を用いることができる。

本実施形態のおむつ１は、股下部Ｃにおける吸収体４に、該吸収体４の長手方向の各側縁４１，４１から離間させて一対の折曲補助手段４４，４４が設けられている。
折曲補助手段４４は、吸収体４を予め決められた所定の部位で折れ曲がり易くする手段である。
本実施形態における折曲補助手段４４は、吸収体４に部分的に設けた吸収体形成材料が存在しない領域である。より詳細に説明すると、股下部Ｃにおける吸収体４は、図２に示すように、おむつ幅方向中央に位置する中央吸収体４２と、該中央吸収体４２の両側縁４２ａ，４２ａの外方に、各側縁４２ａから離間して位置する側部吸収体４３，４３とに分割されており、中央吸収体４２と各側部吸収体４３との間に、吸収体の形成材料が存在しない領域４４が存在している。そして、この領域４４が、本実施形態における折曲補助手段である。本実施形態においては、中央吸収体４２、一対の側部吸収体４３及び中央吸収体４２と各側部吸収体との間の前記領域４４によって吸収体４が構成されており、おむつ幅方向の最も外側に位置する側部吸収体４３の外側縁が、吸収体の側縁４１である。

ここで、吸収体形成材料とは、吸収体４を構成する液保持性の材料であり、通常、繊維集合体又は該繊維集合体の全体又は一部に吸水性ポリマーを保持させたものである（以下、これらを繊維集合体等という）。繊維集合体等は、紙や透水性の不織布等で被覆されていることもあるが、これらは本明細書における吸収体の形成材料には含めない。
繊維集合体としては、パルプ繊維、コットン繊維、レーヨン繊維、テンセル繊維等のセルロース系繊維や、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等の合成繊維、又はこれらの繊維の２種以上の混合物からなる繊維集合体が挙げられる。
繊維集合体の形態としては、カード法により得られる繊維ウエブ等が挙げられる。吸水性ポリマーとしては、自重の２０倍以上の液体を吸収・保持でき且つゲル化し得るものが好ましく、例えば、デンプンや架橋カルボキシルメチル化セルロース、アクリル酸又はアクリル酸アルカリ金属塩の重合体又は共重合体等、ポリアクリル酸及びその塩並びにポリアクリル酸塩グラフト重合体を挙げることができる。繊維集合体にポリマーを保持させた形態としては、繊維集合体の繊維間隙にポリマーを保持させたもの、多層の繊維集合体の層間にポリマーをサンドイッチしたもの等が挙げられる。

本発明の効果は、適度な剛性を有する吸収体を用いた場合に特に顕著である。そのような吸収体の例としては、繊維集合体として、パルプ繊維、コットン繊維、レーヨン繊維、テンセル繊維等のセルロース系繊維を用いており、その平均厚みが０．１〜３．０ｃｍの吸収体を挙げることができる。

本実施形態のように、吸収体の形成材料が存在しない領域４４を折曲補助手段とする場合の該領域は、例えば、一体として製造した繊維集合体等を切断し、これを離間配置することにより形成することができ、また、元々離間した部位に複数の繊維集合体等を形成することにより形成することもできる。

本実施形態における折曲補助手段４４は、おむつの股下部Ｃのみならず、吸収体の長手方向の全長に亘って形成されている。これにより、おむつ止着部側を着用者の股間に沿って引き上げることが一層容易である。

本実施形態のおむつ１においては、図２に示すように、一対の折曲補助手段４４同士間に位置する中央吸収領域Ｄに、おむつ長手方向に沿って弾性部材８１が配設され、該中央吸収領域Ｄが自然状態においておむつ長手方向に収縮した状態とされている。
また、一対の折曲補助手段４４それぞれと吸収体４の各側縁４１との間に位置する側部吸収領域Ｅにも、おむつ長手方向に沿って弾性部材８２，８２が配設されており、各側部吸収領域がＥ、自然状態においておむつ長手方向に収縮した状態とされている。本実施形態における中央吸収領域Ｄは、おむつ厚み方向の内部に中央吸収体４２が配されている部位であり、側部吸収領域Ｅは、おむつの厚み方向の内部に側部吸収体４３が配されている部位である。
前記両弾性部材８１，８２は、伸張状態で吸収体４と裏面シート３との間に固定されており、少なくとも各領域に存する吸収体を長手方向に収縮させている。
尚、弾性部材８１，８２を配設する場所は、吸収体４の内部や吸収体４と表面シート２との間、更には裏面シート３の外面（吸収体４とは反対側の面）等であっても良い。但し、吸収体４からおむつ厚み方向に離間して存在する立体ガード７等は、中央吸収領域Ｄや側部吸収領域Ｅに含まれない。

中央吸収領域Ｄは、おむつを長手方向に手で引っ張ることにより、自然状態における長さから２〜２０ｃｍ伸張可能であることが、装着時の作業性、また装着後のフィット性の観点から好ましい。
また、側部吸収領域Ｅは、おむつを長手方向に手で引っ張ることにより、自然状態における長さから２〜２０ｃｍ伸張可能であることが好ましい。
この伸張可能な長さの測定においては、おむつ股下部Ｃの範囲を越えて弾性部材８１，８２がおむつ長手方向に延びている場合を含めて、弾性部材８１，８２が配されている部分の全長に亘る部分を伸張させて測定する。
側部吸収領域Ｅの伸張可能な長さが２ｃｍ未満であると、装着後のフィット性が悪く、足回り部での隙間も開きやすく、２０ｃｍ超であると使用材料が必要以上に使われコスト面でも不利である。
中央吸収領域Ｄの伸張可能な長さが２ｃｍ未満であると、装着後のフィット性が悪く、足回り部での隙間も開きやすく、２０ｃｍ超であると尿取りパッド（補助吸収具）の装着が不安定になり使いにくい。

各領域Ｄ，Ｅの伸張可能な長さは、おむつ１を、その表面シート側を上方に向けて水平面上においた状態で測定した２点間の長さを自然長とし、おむつ１を、その設計寸法（図１に示す状態における寸法，弾性部材の収縮力を完全に排除した場合の寸法と同じ）となるまで長手方向に伸張させたときの前記２点間の長さを伸張時長さとし、該伸張時長さから前記自然長を差し引いて求める。

また、一対の折曲補助手段４４それぞれと吸収体４の各側縁４１との離間距離Ｗ１（図２参照）は、おむつと着用者の大腿部との接触圧ないし摩擦を充分に低減させる点及び本品と併用が想定される尿取りパッド（補助吸収具）からこぼれ落ちた尿を効果的に吸収する点、装着感を著しく損なわない点から１〜１０ｃｍ、特に３〜５ｃｍであることが好ましく、吸収体４の幅Ｗとの関係では、同様の観点から、離間距離Ｗ１（図２参照）は、おむつ長手方向における同じ位置で測定した吸収体４の幅Ｗの２．５〜３３％、特に８〜１７％であることが好ましい。このような関係は、おむつ長手方向中央部を含むおむつ長手方向全長の２０％以上、特に５０％以上の長さに亘って成立していることが好ましい。

尚、表面シート２、裏面シート３及び立体ガード７等の構成材料としては、使い捨ておむつに従来用いられている各種公知のものを特に制限なく用いることができる。また、弾性部材８１，８２それぞれの形成素材としては、天然ゴム、合成ゴム、スパンデックス等の各種のものを用いることができ、それぞれの形態としては糸状、帯状、フィルム状等の各種のものを用いることができ、特に糸ゴム又は平ゴムが好ましく、これらは複数本（例えば２本〜５本）を配置することが好ましい。

以下、本実施形態のおむつ１の好ましい使用方法について説明する。
本実施形態のおむつ１は、左右のウエストバンド部を、着用者の腹側において止着して装着する方法（以下、腹側装着ともいう）及び着用者の背側において止着して装着する方法（以下、背側装着ともいう）の何れの方法でも装着することができるが、背側装着で装着する場合に本発明の効果がより顕著であるため、背側装着する場合を例にして説明する。
使い捨ておむつ１を装着するには、先ず、図３に示すように、着用者３０の腹側に腹側部Ａを当接させ、両ウエストバンド部１０ａ，１０ｂを着用者３０の背側にもってくる。そして、一方のウエストバンド部１０ａを、他方のウエストバンド部１０ｂに重ねるようにして、一方のウエストバンド部１０ａの先端部に設けられたバンド止着部１１を、他方のウエストバンド部１０ｂの裏面シート側に係合止着する。そして、背側部Ｂを着用者３０の背側に引き出し、着用者３０の股間に沿って引き上げる。そして、図３に示すように、好ましくは背側部Ｂの両側部を持って左右の弾性伸縮部２２を伸長させながら、おむつ止着部２１，２１を、互いに連結された状態の両ウエストバンド部１０，１０に係合止着する。

本実施形態のおむつによれば、股下部における吸収体に一対の折曲補助手段４４が設けられているため、背側部Ｂを、着用者３０の股間部を通して背側に引き出す際に、図４に示すように、吸収体４の両側部が容易に下方に屈曲するため、おむつと着用者の大腿部との接触圧ないし摩擦が大きく低減する。そのため、背側部Ｂの引き出し操作をスムーズに行うことができる。

しかも、中央吸収領域Ｄに弾性部材８１が配設されて中央吸収領域Ｄが自然状態においては長手方向に収縮した状態とされているため、背側部Ｂの引き出し操作の際に、中央吸収領域Ｄが伸張して装着され、装着後も長手方向への伸縮性があるため、装着時にはフィット感が増すと共に、装着後の体の動き、特に立ったり座ったりする動作に対しておむつが追従し、ズレ落ちが効果的に防止される。

また、各側部吸収領域Ｅに弾性部材８２が配設されて各側部吸収領域Ｅが自然状態においては長手方向に収縮した状態とされており、該各側部吸収領域Ｅが前記の収縮状態から２〜２０ｃｍ伸張可能であるため、装着後各側部吸収領域Ｅの吸収体部が足まわりに隙間なくフィットし、尿のモレが効果的に防止される。

更に、本実施形態の使い捨ておむつによれば、おむつ止着部２１を有するフラップ部２０に弾性伸縮部２２が形成されているため、おむつ止着部２１を、背側に止着した状態のウエストバンド部１０に極めて容易に止め付けることができる。しかも、弾性伸縮部２２の存在によって、立ったり座ったりする動作や背中の曲げ伸ばし動作等に伴う背中の伸び縮みの影響が緩和され、着用中における、おむつのズレ落ち、特に着用者の背中が露出するようなズレが生じにくい。
そのため、自分で装着できない老人等に対してその背側から装着して問題なく使用することができ、それにより、介護者の労力的負担及び着用者の労力的・精神的負担を軽減することができる。
尚、本実施形態のおむつ１は、着用者３０の背側に腹側部Ａを当接させ、両ウエストバンド部１０，１０を着用者３０の腹側において止着して装着することもでき、その場合にも、背側部Ｂ（おむつ止着部側）の腹側への引き出し操作を極めてスムーズに行うことができるのる。

本発明の展開型の使い捨ておむつは、上述した実施形態に制限されず、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々変更が可能である。
例えば、上記実施形態における折曲補助手段は、前記吸収体に部分的に設けた吸収体形成材料が存在しない領域であったが、これに代えて前記吸収体にスリットを形成し、該スリットを折曲補助手段とすることもでき、また、吸収体に部分的に吸収体形成材料の坪量が他の部分よりも低い領域を形成し、該領域を折曲補助手段とすることもできる。吸収体に部分的に低坪量領域を形成する場合、該領域の吸収体形成材料の坪量は、その両側それぞれの部位における吸収体形成材料の坪量の１／２以下、特に１／３であることが好ましい。

また、図５に示すように、吸収体４にエンボス処理により連続又は非連続のエンボス線４４’を形成し、該エンボス線を折曲補助手段とすることもできる。図５に示す形態においては、エンボス線４４’が吸収体４のおむつ長手方向に対応する方向に延びており、該吸収体４は、該エンボス線４４’を境に一方の側が中央吸収領域に位置し、他方の側が側部吸収領域に位置するように、表裏面シート間に配されている。尚、エンボス処理は、ヒートシール、超音波シール等の熱が加わるエンボス処理であることが好ましいが、加圧のみのエンボスであっても良い。

また、上記実施形態における折曲補助手段は、おむつ長手方向に延びる中央線と平行に形成されていたが、本発明における折曲補助手段は、中央線と平行に形成する以外に、前記中央線に対して角度を有するように形成したり、幅方向中央側又は幅方向外方側に凹となるように湾曲させて形成することもでき、更には、サインカーブ状等に形成しても良い。
