Abstract
【解決手段】 ランシング装置によって係合されるように適合されるランセットと、感知領域を有する体液化学感知ストリップと、前記感知ストリップに固定的に係合し、かつ前記ランセットに摺動可能に係合するように適合される主要支持部材と、を有し、前記主要支持部材は、前記ランセットを露出していない位置と露出した位置との間で摺動させるように適合されることを特徴とする。

Description
図面において、同一符号が同一形態および同一構造を示していることが理解されるであろう。
本発明の好ましい実施形態が、添付図面を参照してここに説明される。図1aは、本発明の第1の実施形態を示している。試験装置100は、現在市場に出ているグルコースストリップと類似の剛直なプラスチックストリップである感知ストリップ102を有している。感知ストリップの一面が、感知部分としての感知領域104を含んでいることが好ましい。図1aに示されている実施形態において、感知ストリップ102が、平坦な支持部材108に組み込まれている。支持部材108は、スロット110を有しており、このスロット110内に組み込まれたランセット106へのアクセスを可能にするようにしている。ランセット106は、ランシング装置(図示せず)によって係合されるように適合されている。ランセット106には、ランシング装置によって係合されるようになる穴107が形成されていることが好ましい。もちろん、ランセット106には、移動止めや、あるいはまたランシング装置によって係合されて、本発明の範囲内にとどまるように適合された、その他の同様の構造を有するように製作することができる。穴は、ここでは本発明の現在のところ好ましい実施形態に対応するものとして説明される。使用の際には、ランセット106が皮膚に刺し込まれ、次いで、引き抜かれ、従って、結果として生じた傷口から体液を出させ、または出血させるようにできる。
ここで用いられる「体液」という用語は、血液、間質液、およびそれらの混合物等を含むことが理解されるであろう。
次に、導電性ストリップが、図1bに示されているように、試験装置の、測定装置112としての測定器部分と電気的な接触を形成する。測定装置112の電子回路は、感知領域104にわたって電圧を印加し、体液試料の存在によって形成された回路を通る電流を測定するように適合されていることが好ましい。
本発明のこの試験装置の場合には、ランシング行為とサンプリング行為とが1つの装置で実行され、使用者に要求される作業が、少なくなる。有利なことに、使用者は、感知化学装置を体液の液滴の上に再配置する必要がない。
図3は、ランセットの移動方向と感知面の平面との間の角度ωを都合良く可変にする本発明の代替的な実施形態を示している。試験装置200は、感知領域204を有するほぼ平坦な感知ストリップ202を有する。測定装置212に接続するための導電体205が、感知領域204と電極207との間に接続される。平坦な感知ストリップ202は、構造的には、片持ち部材208とランセットのための支持部材210との主要支持部材としての役割をする。ランセット206は、ランセット用の支持部材210に取り付けられている。使用する前に、試験装置200は、携帯用測定装置への挿入体としての幾つかの試験装置がカートリッジ114内にパッケージされるように収納する平坦な形に構成されることが好ましい。ストリップがランサまたは測定器に係合されると、屈曲可能なアーム2のような片持ち部材208や支持部材210が操作されることが好ましい。こうした設計は、使用の際の試験装置の2つの部品間の角度ωの最適化を可能にする。
図4aおよび図4bは、本発明の第3の実施形態による試験装置300を示している。この実施形態においては、ランセット306が皮膚から引き抜かれた後に、試験装置300は、感知ストリップ302を所定の位置に自動的に移動させる。試験装置の支持構造体の押ボタン312を押すことによって、1ないしは2ミリメートルまでの横方向の変位がもたらされる。押ボタン312は、押すと、ランセット306を作動させ、なおかつ放すと、感知ストリップ302を変位させるのに用いられる。
本発明による試験装置100の別の実施形態が、図5に示されている。試験装置100は、体液測定器とランサとの複合体500の中に挿入できる。測定器とランサとの複合体500は、試験装置100を受け入れるように適合された開口部502を有する。また、この複合体500は、ランス、すなわちランセット106を受け入れて刺し込むように適合された作動装置504と、感知ストリップ102を受け入れるように適合されたストリップ受容部506とをまた有している。試験装置100が開口部502内に挿入される時に、ランス、すなわちランセット106が刺し込みのための作動装置504に固定的に係合されて、感知ストリップ102がストリップ受容部506に固定的に係合される。図示された実施形態において、感知ストリップ102は、この感知ストリップ102の露出された近位部分に電気接触部を有することが好ましく、こうした電気接触部が、ストリップ受容部506の対応する電気接触部と接触するように構成されている。
従って、試験装置100が測定器とランサとの複合体500内に挿入される時に、感知ストリップ102は、測定器と共に電気回路を形成する。

Claims (10)
- ランシング装置によって係合されるように適合されるランセットと、
感知領域を有する体液化学感知ストリップと、
前記感知ストリップに固定的に係合し、かつ前記ランセットに摺動可能に係合するように適合される主要支持部材と、
を有し、前記主要支持部材は、前記ランセットを露出していない位置と露出した位置との間で摺動させるように適合されることを特徴とする体液試料捕捉試験装置。 - 前記感知領域は、2つの電極と電気的接触状態にあることを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記主要支持部材は、スロットを有し、該スロットは、前記ランセットと前記ランシング装置との間で接触を可能にするように適合され、前記ランシング装置は、前記スロットの方向に前記ランセットを摺動させるように適合されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記感知領域は、前記ランセットの前記露出した位置に隣接していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記感知ストリップは、ウィックを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記感知ストリップは、ノッチを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記主要支持部材は、ノッチを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記感知ストリップは、1マイクロリットルよりも少ない量の体液を感知するように適合されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 前記感知ストリップは、0.5マイクロリットルよりも少ない量の体液を感知するように適合されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の体液試料捕捉試験装置。
- 体液試料を捕捉して試験する複数個の装置を有するカートリッジであって、前記体液試料捕捉試験装置の各々は、
ランシング装置によって係合されるように適合されるランセットと、
感知領域を有する体液化学感知ストリップと、
前記感知ストリップに固定的に係合し、かつ前記ランセットに摺動可能に係合するように適合される主要支持部材と、
を有し、前記主要支持部材は、前記ランセットを露出していない位置と露出した位置との間で摺動させるように適合されることを特徴とするカートリッジ。
