TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an emulsified composition suitable for an external preparation for skin, and more particularly to an emulsified composition suitable for an external preparation for skin using a thickening emulsifier derived from a natural product.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The emulsion composition contains an aqueous component and an oil component, which are separated into a continuous phase and emulsified particles, so that it is suitable as a carrier for the oil-soluble component and also as a carrier for the water-soluble component. It is used as a useful formulation in fields such as cosmetics and external medicine for skin. Such an emulsified composition is mainly composed of a hydrophilic component, an oily component and a surfactant. Among them, a surfactant is an essential component for dispersing a hydrophilic component and an oil component that are not mixed with each other in a uniform dispersion state. As surfactants, anionic surfactants such as soaps and alkyl sulfates, and non-ionic surfactants of polyoxyethylene addition type or partial ester type of polyhydric alcohol are widely used in the field of skin external preparations. ing. Among them, anionic surfactants need to be improved in terms of temporary irritation, and nonionic surfactants have an improvement in terms of temporal generation of formalin. Furthermore, due to its characteristics of being difficult to biodegrade, environmental science is incompatible with the Kyoto Protocol on "Sustainable Development" and leaves room for improvement. For this reason, development of an emulsification system without using a surfactant has been a long-standing problem in the field of skin external preparations.
[0003]
Against this background, some emulsified formulations that do not use surfactants have been devised. For example, those using an acrylic acid copolymer having a long-chain alkyl group in a side chain as shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2 can be exemplified as typical examples. However, in such a polymer, residual monomers generated when the polymer is prepared are concerned from the viewpoint of safety. In addition, such polymers, like surfactants, are not easily biodegradable in terms of environmental science, leaving room for improvement in the spirit of the Kyoto Protocol for “Sustainable Development”. That is, development of an emulsion composition using neither a synthetic polymer nor a surfactant is desired.
[0004]
On the other hand, alginic acid is used in cosmetics as its calcium salt or the like as a film-forming agent, and polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid is used in cosmetics as a skin-protecting component or a thickening component. Are known. (Patent Documents 3 to 10) However, an emulsion comprising 1) a polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid and 2) alginic acid and / or a salt thereof is not known, and is synthesized by adopting such a constitution. It is not known at all that an emulsified composition using neither a polymer nor a surfactant can be obtained.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in such a situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide an emulsified composition which is suitable as an external preparation for the skin and uses neither a synthetic polymer nor a surfactant.
[0006]
[Means for solving the problem]
In view of such circumstances, the present inventors have searched for an emulsified composition that does not use a synthetic polymer or a surfactant that is suitable as an external preparation for the skin, and as a result of intensive research efforts,
The inventors have found that an emulsified composition containing 1) a polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid and 2) alginic acid and / or a salt thereof has such properties, and have completed the invention. That is, the present invention relates to the following technology.
An emulsified composition comprising (1) 1) a polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid and 2) alginic acid and / or a salt thereof.
(2) The emulsion composition according to (1), wherein the polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid is alginic acid propylene glycol ester.
(3) The emulsified composition according to (1) or (2), wherein the emulsion composition comprises, as alginic acid and / or a salt thereof, a polyvalent metal salt of alginic acid.
(4) The polyvalent metal salt of alginic acid is one or more selected from calcium alginate, magnesium alginate, aluminum alginate and zinc alginate, any one of (1) to (3). Item 2. The emulsion composition according to item 1.
(5) The emulsification according to any one of (1) to (4), wherein the content of the polyvalent metal root is 0.001 to 0.5% by weight in terms of chloride. Composition.
(6) The emulsion composition according to any one of (1) to (5), which is an external preparation for skin.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
(1) Polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid which is an essential component of the emulsion composition of the present invention The emulsion composition of the present invention contains an ester of a polyhydric alcohol of alginic acid as an essential component. Here, the polyhydric alcohol constituting the ester of the polyhydric alcohol of alginic acid can be used without any particular limitation as long as it is used in an external preparation for skin and the like, and those having 2 to 4 carbon atoms can be used. Those having no ether bond are preferred. Specifically, propylene glycol, glycerin, 1,3-butanediol, ethylene glycol and the like can be preferably exemplified. Among them, propylene glycol can be particularly preferably exemplified from the balance between hydrophilicity and lipophilicity. All of these polyhydric alcohol esters of alginic acid are known compounds, and their production methods are already known. Examples of the method for producing the ester of polyhydric alcohol of alginic acid include reacting a salt of alginic acid such as sodium alginate with a monohalide of the corresponding polyhydric alcohol in the presence of an alkali. For example, in the case of propylene glycol alginate, sodium alginate and 1-chloro-2-propanol may be reacted in the presence of potassium carbonate or the like in a hydroalcoholic alcohol, or in the case of glyceryl alginate, the above reaction may be performed. It can be produced by treating in the same manner as above except that 1-chloro-2-propanol is replaced with 1-chloro-2,3-propanediol. Some of such esters are already commercially available, and such commercially available products can be purchased and used. Suitable commercial products include, for example, propylene glycol alginate sold by Kimika Co., Ltd., "Kimiloid LLV", "Kimiloid LV", "Kimiloid MV", "Kimiloid HV", "Kimiloid BF". , “Kimiloid NLSK” and the like. These have different viscosities and degrees of esterification. Particularly preferred for use as the emulsified composition of the present invention is "Kimiloid NLSK". In the emulsified composition of the present invention, the ester of polyhydric alcohol of alginic acid has an effect of stably emulsifying and dispersing an oil component. These esters of polyhydric alcohols of alginic acid may contain only one kind or two or more kinds in combination. The content of the polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid in the emulsion composition of the present invention is preferably 1 to 5% by weight, more preferably 1.2 to 2% by weight based on the total weight of the emulsion composition. % By weight. If the amount is too small, the emulsion stability may be impaired. If the amount is too large, the composition may be too hard and the usability may be impaired.
[0008]
(2) Alginic acid and / or its salt which is an essential component of the emulsion composition of the present invention The emulsion composition of the present invention contains alginic acid and / or its salt as an essential component. As the alginic acid and / or a salt thereof, a form containing an alginate is preferable. Examples of the alginate include alkali metal salts such as sodium salts and potassium salts, alkaline earth metal salts such as calcium and magnesium, zinc salts, neutral metal salts such as aluminum salts, manganese salts, iron salts and nickel salts. Preferred examples thereof include organic amine salts such as transition metal salts, ammonium salts, triethanolamine salts and triethylamine salts, and basic amino acid salts such as lysine salts and arginine salts. Among them, those containing a form in which a polyvalent metal root such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, and aluminum is used as a counter ion are more preferable. In the emulsified composition of the present invention, alginic acid and / or a salt thereof has an action of stabilizing a system emulsified by the ester of polyhydric alcohol of alginic acid. In the emulsified composition of the present invention, the content of alginic acid and / or a salt thereof is preferably 0.05 to 5% by weight, more preferably 0.1 to 2% by weight in terms of sodium alginate. 【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to Examples, but it is needless to say that the present invention is not limited to Examples.
[0011]
<Example 1>
According to the following formulation, an emulsified composition 1 (cosmetic) of the present invention was prepared. That is, a, b, c, and d were each adjusted to 80 ° C., and b was added to a with stirring to disperse and dissolve uniformly, and then c was added with stirring to perform base exchange. Under stirring, the mixture was gradually added to emulsify the mixture, and the mixture was stirred and cooled to obtain emulsion composition 1 as an emulsion. Comparative Example 1 in which sodium alginate was simultaneously replaced with propylene glycol alginate, Comparative Example 2 in which propylene glycol alginate was replaced with alginic acid, Control Example 1 in which sodium alginate was replaced with water, and Control Example in which propylene glycol alginate was replaced with water 2. Control Example 3 in which sodium alginate and propylene glycol alginate were substituted with alginic acid was also prepared. These were evaluated for emulsifiability under a microscope and for stability in storage tests at 5 ° C, 20 ° C and 40 ° C for 2 weeks. The evaluation criteria were: :: good, Δ: partially defective, ×: defective. Table 1 shows the results. This shows that the emulsifying composition and the stability of the emulsifying composition of the present invention are extremely good. Emulsion composition 1 was evaluated by professional panelists as having requirements for cosmetics.
