Description

【0001】

The present invention relates to monitors provided with screens on the front and back of a display unit, respectively, and a notebook personal computer using the monitors.
[0002]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a monitor screen is shown to a person other than an operator facing an operator, or when an independent flat panel type monitor is used, the entire monitor is moved or moved up, down, left and right. The monitor screen is directed toward the other party by moving the display unit coupled to the pedestal by an arm so that it can move freely, but it is necessary to move the display unit while maintaining or adjusting the angle of the display unit. Such work, such as taking care not to touch the screen to make it dirty, was nervous and complicated. Furthermore, the operator cannot or cannot see the monitor easily, and it is difficult to further operate the monitor screen while showing it to the other party. Similarly, when a notebook personal computer is used, the entire computer is moved and the monitor screen is directed to the other party. In addition to the above-mentioned problems, the keyboard is removed from the front of the operator and the monitor screen is displayed to the other party. Further manipulation was difficult.
[0003]
Therefore, in a stand-alone flat panel monitor or a notebook personal computer monitor, a technique of providing a monitor screen on the front of the display unit and also providing a monitor screen on the back to show a monitor screen to a person located on the back. It has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0004]
However, in this prior art, since two monitor screens are always provided back to back, the thickness of the display unit increases and the weight of the display unit increases, and the power consumption increases drastically, and the power supply such as a battery is used. In this case, there is a disadvantage that the usable time is shortened.
