（３）合流式下水処理施設における最初沈殿池の流出水を凝集分離する設備と、該凝集分離処理水の一部を公共水域に放流できる流路を設け、凝集分離処理水の残部を活性汚泥処理槽に流入させる流路を配備したことを特徴とする合流式下水の処理装置。
（４）凝集分離設備からの凝集分離汚泥を導入してメタン発酵処理するメタン発酵槽を設けたことを特徴とする前記（３）記載の合流式下水の処理装置。
