Further, a paper diaper having a three-dimensional gather for preventing leakage of urine and the like from around the legs is also used in the main body of the paper diaper. Many of the respective members constituting the paper diaper, such as the top sheet, back sheet, and three-dimensional gather, are made of non-woven fabric. The non-woven fabric forming each of these members is processed to enhance water repellency or water absorption, is provided with rubber to have elasticity, or is formed into an appropriate shape and size to form urine, etc. It realizes the necessary properties for diapers, such as improving the absorption capacity of diaper, improving breathability, and preventing leakage of urine.

As the material of the non-woven fabric forming the top sheet 10, either natural fibers or synthetic fibers may be used. Examples of natural fibers include cotton, cellulose (wood pulp), wool, silk and the like. Examples of synthetic fibers include polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), nylon, polyester (PET, etc.), acrylic, and the like. Also, PE / PP mixed non-woven fabric, PE / PET mixed non-woven fabric, or mixed cotton of these,
Bicomponent fibers (mixed fibers) obtained by appropriately combining the above materials can also be used.

Cotton is blended regardless of whether natural fiber or synthetic fiber other than cotton is used as the material. This is because a non-woven fabric containing cotton can form a non-woven fabric that is softer and has a better feel than a non-woven fabric. Although the amount of cotton blended varies depending on the type of other materials forming the nonwoven fabric, it is preferable that the amount of cotton is less than 3.0% by weight based on the whole fibrous material. If it is 3.0% by weight or more, water such as body fluid absorbed by cotton may return to the surface layer and give a dull feeling to the wearer.

The fibers and the like may be manufactured by any method such as a spunbond method, a melt blow method, or a combination of these with the above-mentioned bonding method. In addition, a cotton-mixed nonwoven fabric can be formed by blending cotton in the process of forming a nonwoven fabric from various fibers as described above.

When it is 18 g / m 2 or less, the absorbency may be lowered due to the movement of the user of the diaper 100. Further, when it is 30 g / m 2 or more, it is considered that the operability in the production of the nonwoven fabric is lowered and the production cost is increased.

It is preferable to perform appropriate processing such as performing hydrophobic processing or water repellent processing to some extent, or in the case of a hydrophobic material, partially performing hydrophilic processing. Such processing can be performed by applying a known processing method to the non-woven fabric formed by entanglement of fibers by the above method.

The processing to prevent the fiber tips from fluffing from the surface of the nonwoven fabric means that the tips of the fibers forming the nonwoven fabric do not protrude from the surface of the nonwoven fabric. In the present embodiment, smoothing is performed by applying pressure to the surface of the non-woven fabric to hold fibers fluffing on the non-woven fabric surface so that the fibers lie on the non-woven fabric surface. The angle at which the fibers are laid on the surface of the non-woven fabric is preferably 45 degrees or less because the feel is smooth. As a method of applying pressure to the surface of the non-woven fabric, a method of sandwiching the non-woven fabric between rollers and applying pressure from both front and back surfaces can be mentioned. For example, as shown in FIG. 3 (a), it is carried out by a method of sandwiching the nonwoven fabric 70 between two rollers R, R (nonwoven fabric 70a before smoothing, 70b after processing), or by rolling the roller on the surface of the nonwoven fabric. be able to. As shown in FIGS. 3B and 3C, the fibers A fluffed on the surface of the non-woven fabric are pressed by the surface of the non-woven fabric by the smoothing process of rolling a roller on the surface of the non-woven fabric. And Figure 3
As shown in (c), the surface of the non-woven fabric is smoothed by the fluffing being suppressed, and the non-woven fabric has a small friction resistance and a good feel.

First, three types of non-woven fabrics 211, 212, and 213 are superposed by a mechanism indicated by 210, and then air through processing is performed in the air through portion 220. After that, the formed three-layer nonwoven fabric is led out to the smoothing portion 230. The smoothing part 230 is provided with heat rollers 231 and 232 each having a smooth surface and having a predetermined temperature. A nonwoven fabric is interposed between the heat rollers 231 and 232 so that the fiber tips protruding from the surface are laid down. It is pressed down. The non-woven fabric that has passed through the smooth processing section 230 is
As shown in FIG. 3D, the non-woven fabric has a smooth surface and has no protruding fibers. Then, the non-woven fabric after the smoothing process is wound up by the winding section 240. In this smooth processing, the heat rollers 231 and 232 are 120 to 130 ° C.
It is preferably overheated. If the temperature is lower than 120 ° C, the heat-melting effect of the fiber is weak and the effect of pressing the fiber onto the surface of the non-woven fabric is weak. Also, if the temperature is 130 ° C or higher,
The heat-melting effect is great, the bonding range between fibers is wide,
This is because the moisture permeability effect is impaired.

By applying smooth processing during the manufacturing and processing of non-woven fabrics,
A non-woven fabric having a smooth surface and a good feel can be produced. The smoothing process may be carried out at the final stage after the non-woven fabric is subjected to the hydrophobic process or the like as described above, or may be carried out in the middle stage of various processes after the fibers are entangled.

Alternatively, a method of smoothing the surface of the non-woven fabric by cutting the fibers A on the fluffy non-woven fabric surface to make the fiber tip protruding from the non-woven fabric surface extremely short may be used. By such processing, it is possible to form a non-woven fabric having a smooth feel when touched by the skin. It is preferable that the length of the fiber A on the surface of the non-woven fabric to be cut and shortened is 20 to 60 mm because the non-woven fabric surface feels smooth.

This waterproof film is a porous film in which voids are formed in the sheet by adding calcium carbonate or the like to a resin raw material at the time of manufacturing, and is also hydrophobically processed or water repellent processed to have breathability. It is designed to perform as a waterproof film. The waterproof film covers the back surface side of the absorbent body 30 and is provided so as to sandwich the absorbent body 30 with the top sheet 10. Further, both sides of the waterproof film extend laterally, and as will be described later, the gather sheet 40 is provided along the both sides. The portion composed of the top sheet 10, the waterproof film, and the absorber 30 is referred to as an absorbing portion 35.

A good-quality disposable diaper can be formed. In addition, the non-woven fabric processed so that the fiber tip of the surface that comes into contact with the skin does not fluff has a smooth surface and a small frictional force. Therefore, by using a non-woven fabric that has been subjected to such processing, it is possible to form a paper diaper that has a good feel when touching the skin, and that it is possible to prevent the skin or the like that comes into contact with the non-woven fabric from being rubbed and that the usability is good. .
