2. Description of the Related Art There is an increasing number of facilities equipped with automated reception devices instead of allocating personnel in charge of reception or boarding procedures at government offices and hospitals. These reception devices use a PC terminal equipped with a display or an extension telephone as a reception device,
Alternatively, it is used as a device for issuing numbered tickets and boarding passes. In a place where such a reception device is provided, in principle, each person needs to perform an operation independently.

The former barrier-free terminal enables persons with disabilities such as blind, visually impaired, deaf, and hard of hearing to obtain information by voice information, display screen information, and Braille display information. It has a device configuration that can be used as a device. However, while sitting in a wheelchair,
When operating such a reception device, sufficient information cannot be obtained unless the reception device is installed in an operable position. Therefore, to use this barrier-free terminal for people with disabilities sitting in a wheelchair, install it in a position where it is as easy as possible to operate, and make it easier for people with disabilities to put weight on the equipment or rack by mistake during operation. The strength that can withstand is also an important issue.

On the other hand, the latter auxiliary top plate is to be attached to a table mainly used in a dining room or the like and is also used by a healthy person, but it is a high table used by a healthy person and a physically handicapped person. The difference in size is not so great, and it can be used for both by attaching and detaching the auxiliary top plate. However, in places where there are reception devices that can be operated by unspecified large numbers of users at all times, such as at public offices and hospitals, in order to improve efficiency, we installed it so that healthy people can operate while standing. is doing. For this reason, the installation height of the reception device is a height dedicated to healthy people, and is currently difficult to use while sitting in a wheelchair.

Under these circumstances, there is a demand for a reception rack that can be easily used by wheelchair users. However,
Due to the unique structure of the wheelchair, there were the following problems.

First, unless the footrest portion of the wheelchair has entered the inside of the rack, it is not possible to touch the reception equipment mounted on the rack with a sufficient margin. Second
In addition, since a person with disabilities operates it, an unexpected load may be applied to the rack when approaching or operating. Therefore, it is necessary for the reception rack to have extremely strong support strength that can withstand an excessive load. Thirdly, since it is used as a rack for wheelchairs, it is expected that the installation space will be smaller than the space for healthy people, which has a large absolute number. Therefore, it is possible to install in a space as compact as possible.

A fixed base 4 and a reinforced base 6 are welded to the upper and lower ends of each support leg 2 (see FIG. 3). Fixed base 4
Is a metal plate fixed to the floor with screws, anchors or the like, and has a supporting hole 4A into which the lower end portion of the supporting leg 2 is fitted (see FIG. 4). Then, welding is performed with the lower end portion of the support leg 2 fitted in the support hole 4A. Reinforcement base 6 shown
Are formed in a substantially U shape in plan view so as not to obstruct the entry of the wheelchair Q. On the other hand, the reinforcing base 6 is the mounting table 1 described above.
With a rectangular metal plate fixed to the lower surface of the support leg, a supporting hole (not shown) for inserting the upper end portion of the support leg 2 is also opened in the reinforcing base 6 and welded with the support leg 2 fitted. . The reinforcement base 6 enhances the support strength of the support legs 2 and also the mounting table 1
Also increases the strength (see FIG. 3).

The fixed board 3 is a member for fixing the mounting table 1 to the wall surface (see FIG. 2). The illustrated fixed platen 3 includes a back plate 3A extending upward from the mounting table 1 and side plates 3B connected to the back plate 3A from both side surfaces of the mounting table 1. In this way, the mounting table 1 can be extremely firmly fixed by the fixing plate 3 that surrounds the mounting table 1 from three sides. The strength of the fixed platen 3 can be further increased by forming the back plate 3A from a metal plate and providing a pair of reinforcing metal fittings 3C along the left and right side plates 3B on the plate surface of the back plate 3A ( (See FIG. 5). Incidentally, reference numeral 3D in the drawing is a decorative board that covers the front surface of the back plate 3A.

The protective cover 5 comprises a pair of large covers 5A and two pairs of small covers 5B (see FIG. 1). Large cover 5
A connects the auxiliary support leg 2A to the fixed base 4 by sandwiching the auxiliary support leg 2A from the left and right side surfaces (see FIG. 4). On the other hand, the small cover 5B connects the reinforced support legs 2B to the fixed base 4 by sandwiching them from the front and rear side surfaces, respectively. In each case, it is preferable to use MDF (medium fiberboard) having a thickness of about 40 mm, but it is also possible to change to a material having a better shock absorption property (for example, rubber material or urethane material).
