Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 無線通信システムにおける送信電力を制御する方法であって、 前記無線通信システムのユーザに複数の物理チャネルを割当てる工程と、 基準チャネルとしての役割を果たす、前記複数の物理チャネルの1つの特性を 測定する工程と、 前記測定された特性に基づいて、前記基準チャネルに関連した送信電力を制御 する工程と、 個々のパワーコントロールループを用いで、前記基準チャネルの送信電力に相 対的に、前記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を 調整する工程とを有することを特徴とする方法。 2. 前記基準チャネルは制御情報を搬送する物理制御チャネル(PCCH) であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 前記測定する工程は、前記基準チャネルの信号対干渉比(SIR)を測 定する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 4. 前記送信電力を調整する工程は、前記測定されたSIRとSIRの目標 値との比較に基づいて、前記基準チャネルに関連した送信電力を制御する工程を さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 5. 前記基準チャネルについての品質測定に従って前記SIR目標値を調整 する工程をさらに有し、 前記SIR目標値は、前記測定された品質が第1の閾値を上回るときには前記 SIR目標値を低くし、前記測定された品質が第2の閾値を下回るときには前記 SIR目標値を高くすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 6. 前記SIR目標値は、前記測定された品質が前記第1の閾値と前記第2 の閾値との間にあるならば、変更せずにおくことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の 方法。 7. 前記ユーザに割当てられた複数の無線搬送波についての品質測定に従っ て前記SIR目標値を調整する工程をさらに有し、 前記複数の無線搬送波の少なくとも1つの測定品質が、前記複数の無線搬送波 の少なくとも1つに関連した第1の閾値を下回るなら、前記SIR目標値は高く され、全ての無線搬送波についての測定品質が特定の無線搬送波各々についての 第2の閾値を越えるなら、前記SIR目標値は低くされることを特徴とする請求 項4に記載の方法。 8. 前記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を 調整する工程は、 1つ以上の前記複数の物理チャネルにマップされた各無線搬送波に関連した品 質を測定する工程と、 前記測定された品質に基づいて、前記基準チャネルの送信電力に相対的に、前 記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を調整する工 程とをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 9. 前記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を 調整する工程は、 1つ以上の前記複数の物理チャネルにマップされた各無線搬送波に関連した品 質を測定する工程と、 前記SIR目標値の各更新において、前記基準チャネルとは別の各物理チャネ ルの送信電力と前記基準チャネルの送信電力との間の差の変化を決定することに より、前記測定された品質に基づいて、前記基準チャネルの送信電力に相対的に 、前記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を調整す る工程とをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。 10. 前記差の変化を決定する工程は、xdBとydBとの差に等しい前記差 を設定する工程をさらに有し、 特定の物理チャネルにマップされた少なくとも1つの無線搬送波についての測 定品質が前記特定の無線搬送波に関連した第1の閾値を下回るなら、xは正の値 であり、 前記特定の物理チャネルにマップされた全ての無線搬送波についての測定品質 が特定の無線搬送波各々に関連した各々の第2の閾値を越えるなら、xは負の値 であり、 yは前記SIR目標値におけるdBの変化であることを特徴とする請求項9に 記載の方法。 11. 前記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を 調整する工程は、 1つ以上の前記複数の物理チャネルにマップされる無線搬送波各々に関連した 品質を測定する工程と、 前記SIR目標値の各更新において、前記基準チャネルとは別の各物理チャネ ルの送信電力と前記基準チャネルの送信電力との間の差の変化を決定することに より、前記測定された品質に基づいて、前記基準チャネルの送信電力に相対的に 、前記基準チャネルとは別の、前記複数の物理チャネル各々の送信電力を調整す る工程とをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 12. 前記差の変化を決定する工程は、xdBとydBとの差に等しい前記差 を設定する工程をさらに有し、 特定の物理チャネルにマップされた少なくとも1つの無線搬送波についての測 定品質が前記特定の無線搬送波に関連した第1の閾値を下回るなら、xは正の値 であり、 前記特定の物理チャネルにマップされた全ての無線搬送波についての測定品質 が特定の無線搬送波各々に関連した各々の第2の閾値を越えるなら、xは負の値 であり、 yは前記SIR目標値におけるdBの変化であることを特徴とする請求項11 に記載の通信システム。 13. 送信電力制御命令と少なくとも1つのパワーオフセット命令とを受信す る受信器と、 物理制御チャネルと少なくとも1つの物理データチャネルについてのデータを 送信する送信器と、 前記送信電力制御命令を用いて前記物理制御チャネルと前記少なくとも1つの 物理データチャネルとに共通の送信電力を調整し、前記少なくとも1つのパワー オフセット命令を用いて前記物理制御チャネルと前記少なくとも1つの物理デー タチャネルとの間の相対送信電力を調整する電力制御ユニットとを有することを 特徴とする通信局。 14. 前記通信局は基地局であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の通信局 。 15. 前記通信局は移動局であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の通信局 。 16. 前記送信器はさらに、 前記物理制御チャネルに関連してデータを拡散する第1の拡散器と、 前記少なくとも1つの物理データチャネルに関連してデータを拡散する第2の 拡散器と、 前記相対送信電力を調整する、前記第2の拡散器に接続された可変利得アンプ と、 前記第1の拡散器の出力と前記可変利得アンプの出力とを結合する加算デバイ スとを有することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の通信局。 17. 前記結合された出力をスクランブルするスクランブルユニットと、 前記物理制御チャネルと前記少なくとも1つの物理データチャネルとに共通の 前記送信電力を調整する第2の可変利得アンプとをさらに有することを特徴とす る請求項16に記載の通信局。
