Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.主として、その表面に反応性基を有するポリマー性一次被覆を有する基質を 含む物品であって、該ポリマー性被覆が、反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合物 から誘導され、該被覆において、該反応性基の濃度が、ESR分光分析によるス ピンラベル測定に基づいて、0.2〜20・10-9モルスピン/cm2の範囲、好 適には0.5〜15・10-9モルスピン/cm2の範囲、最も好適には2〜12・ 10-9モルスピン/cm2の範囲である物品。 2.該ポリマー性被覆が、反応性基を有しない重合性不飽和化合物の1種以上か ら誘導される繰り返し単位を更に含む、請求項1記載の物品。 3.該ポリマー性被覆が、反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合物の1種以上から 誘導される繰り返し単位を更に含む、請求項1記載の物品。 4.繰り返し単位の30%〜98%、好適には50%〜90%、更に好適には6 0〜80%が、該不飽和化合物の非−プラズマラジカル重合により得られる繰り 返し単位のそれらと同一構造であり、かつ繰り返し単位の2%〜70%、好適に は10%〜50%、更に好適には20%〜40%が、架橋鎖部位及び/又は基質 への共有結合部位を占める、請求項1記載の物品。 5.被覆のポリマー鎖が、該重合性不飽和化合物の非−プラズマラジカル重合に より得られる繰り返し単位のそれらに同一構造である繰り返し単位の76%〜9 8%、好適には82%〜98%を含み、かつ繰り返し単位の2%〜24%、好適 には2%〜24%が、架橋鎖部位及び/又は基質への共有結合部位を占める、請 求項2記載の物品。 6.反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合物の相対量が、100重量%〜10重量 %、好適には80重量%〜50重量%、更に好適には70重量%〜40重量%の 範囲であり;100重量%までの残りが、非反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合 物である、請求項2記載の物品。 7.反応性基が、イソシアナト、イソチオシアナト、グリシジル、無水物、アザ ラクトン又はラクトン基、好適にはイソシアナト又はアザラクトン基、更に好適 にはイソシアナト基である、請求項1記載の物品。 8.反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合物が、2−イソシアナトエチルメタクリ ラート、グリシジルメタクリラート、(メタ)アクリル酸無水物及び4−ビニル −2,2−ジメチルアザラタトンから、好適にはグリシジルメタクリラート、2 −イソシアナトエチルメタクリラート及び4−ビニル−2,2−ジメチルアザラ クトンから、及び更に好適には2−イソシアナトエチルメタクリラートから選択 される、請求項1記載の物品。 9.ポリマー性被覆が、少なくとも1種が反応性基を有する少なくとも2種の重 合性不飽和化合物から形成されるコポリマーである、請求項1〜6のいずれか1 項記載の物品。 10.反応性基を有する該重合性不飽和化合物が、イソシアナトエチルメタクリ ラート、特に4−ビニル−2,2−ジメチルアザラクトンである、請求項8記載 の物品。 11.基質が、有機ポリマーである、請求項1記載の物品。 12.基質が、無機材料である、請求項1記載の物品。 13.無機材料が、金属、セラミック材料、ガラス、鉱物及びグラファイトを含 む炭素である、請求項12記載の物品。 14.基質が、有機−有機又は有機−無機ラミネート又は複合材料である、請求 項1記載の物品。 15.基質が、フィルム、ファイバー、膜、シート、チューブ、ホース、中空繊 維、カプセル及び粉末から選択されるものである、請求項1〜10のいずれか1 項記載の物品。 16.基質が、生物医学材料又は装置である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記 載の物品。 17.視覚矯正のための眼科用装具である、請求項16記載の物品。 18.コンタクトレンズ、眼内レンズ又はレンズ角膜移植片(人工角膜)である 、請求項17記載の物品。 19.長期装着コンタクトレンズである、請求項18記載の物品。 20.反応性基を有するポリマー性被覆が、架橋剤を介して更に架橋される、請 求項1〜19記載の物品。 21.ポリマー性被覆が、少なくとも2種の重合性不飽和化合物と、場合により 架橋剤と一緒に連続重合により製造される多層被覆であり、ここで最上層の重合 された不飽和化合物が、反応性基を有している、請求項1〜20のいずれか1項 記載の物品。 22.一次被覆の厚さが、典型的には、0.001〜10μmの範囲、好適には 0.01〜1μmの範囲、最も好適には0.03〜0.2μmの範囲である、請求 項1〜21のいずれか1項記載の物品。 23.ポリマー性被覆が、パターンの形態である、請求項1〜22のいずれか1 項記載の物品。 24.レンズの前及び裏表面が、反応性基を有する異なるポリマーで被覆されて いる、請求項19記載のコンタクトレンズ。 25.請求項1〜21のいずれか1項記載の物品を製造するための方法であって 、基質上で、反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合物のアフターグロープラズマ誘 導重合を実施することを含み、ここで、基質が、プラズマ領域の外側の下流で4 〜40cmの距離に位置し、モノマー導入口は、3〜35cmの位置にあることを特 徴とする方法。 26.プラズマが、直流(DC)、高周波(RF)又はマイクロ波(MV)プラズ マである、請求項25記載の方法。 27.プラズマが、誘導結合を有するRFプラズマである、請求項26記載の方 法。 28.周波数が、13.56又は27.12MHzである。請求項25〜27のい ずれか1項記載の方法。 29.プラズマが、パルスプラズマである、請求項25〜28のいずれか1項記 載の方法。 30.下流のモノマー導入口の距離が、プラズマ領域から8〜30cm、最も好適 には10〜25cmである、請求項25〜29のいずれか1項記載の方法。 31.下流のモノマー導入口の距離が、プラズマ領域から6〜25cm、最も好適 には8〜20cmである、請求項25〜30のいずれか1項記載の方法。 32.重合が、画像化された表面の生成のために、遮蔽(マスク)として除去し 得るパターンスクリーンを有する基質の存在下に重合が行われる、請求項17記 載の物品を製造するための、請求項25〜31のいずれか1項記載の方法。 33.合成、半合成又は生物由来の、モノマー性、オリゴマー性又は高分子化合 物の反応性基を有する一次被覆を有する、請求項1〜21のいずれか1項記載の 反応により得られる、ハイブリッドタイプの被覆を有する物品。 34.合成、半合成又は生物由来の、モノマー性、オリゴマー性又は高分子化合 物が、 −炭水化物、オリゴ糖、多糖、砂糖、シクロデキストリン、ヘパリン、デキスト ラン及びグリコサアミノグリカン; −細胞接着及び抗接着因子、細胞成長因子、酵素、共酵素、受容体タンパク、レ クチン、抗体、抗原のような、ペプチド又はタンパク; −ムシン及び免疫グロブリンのような、グリコペプチド、グリコタンパク及びリ ポタンパク; −スフィンゴリピドのようなホスホリピド、グリコリピド及びリポタンパク; −DNA−又はRNA−オリゴヌクレオチドのようなヌクレオチド; −親和性種、それは特定の分子種を、錠/鍵、ホスト/ゲスト及びそうでないな ら補助的相互作用又は錯体形成を通して、吸引性、集合性及び/又は一時的結合 性にすることができる;及び −蛍光染料(FITC)、コロイドの性金、放射性ラベル、ペルオキシダーゼなど のような特定のラベルを有する上記の生物材料のいずれかから選択され、したが って、被覆された表面を、分析及び診断技術に適切ならしめる、請求項33記載 の物品。 35.合成ポリマーが、ポリエチレンイミン及びアミノ末端ポリビニルアルコー ル又はポリ−N−ビニルピロリドンのようなビニルアミノ官能化ポリマー及びテ ロマー;ポリエチレングリコール及びポリ−アクリルアミドから選択される、請 求項34記載の物品。 36.ポリシロキサン及び/又はペルフルオロアルキル−ポリエーテル基を含む レンズ体、レンズ体上に2−イソシアナト基のアフターグロープラズマ−誘導重 合によりレンズ体上に調製されたポリマー性被覆、及びイソシアナト基とヒドロ キシ基含有ポリマーの反応により得られたトップ(二次)被覆を含むコンタクト レンズであり、そのハイブリッド−タイプ被覆が、湿潤性を示し、水との接触角 が、前進≦75°、後退≦65°、及びヒステレシス≦46°である、請求項3 4記載の物品。 37.肝臓、膵臓、腎臓、心臓のような人工器官;(マイクロ)カプセル、(マイ クロ)ビーズ及び経皮膜、又は腫瘍標的若しくは脳標的のような薬剤標的システ ム;生物分析システム;親和担体又は浸透選択膜;人工器官、外科的補修若しく は移植材料;又は血管移植、骨補修、神経補修、歯科補修若しくはカテーテルの ような他の生物医学装具である、請求項34記載の物品。 38.視力矯正のための眼科用装具である、請求項34記載の物品。 39.コンタクトレンズ、眼内レンズ又はレンズ角膜移植片(人工角膜)である 、請求項38記載の物品。 40.長期装着コンタクトレンズである、請求項39記載の物品。 41.該一次被覆が、反応性基を有する重合性不飽和化合物のアフターグロープ ラズマ−誘導重合により得られる、請求項1記載の物品。
