Further, it is desired that a general vehicle using an engine as a power source also reduces battery power consumption to reduce the load on the engine by the alternator, thereby improving fuel efficiency. In response to this, the light source of vehicle lamps such as tail lamps, stop lamps, and room lamps is replaced with a lamp having a conventional filament (hereinafter, referred to as a filament lamp).
The above LED lamp can be used.

The vehicle lamp is provided with measures such as setting the shape of the reflecting mirror in accordance with the light distribution characteristics of the filament lamp and providing a reflex reflector on the outer lens. For this reason, when an LED lamp in which a plurality of LED elements are arranged on a flat or hemispherical substrate instead of a filament lamp is directly applied to a vehicle lamp, illumination light having appropriate light distribution characteristics can be obtained. Is difficult. On the other hand, LED
Replacing the reflecting mirror and the outer lens according to the light distribution characteristics of the lamp causes an increase in cost and the like.
