Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deodorize odor of the humor such as menstural blood and provide good visibility by mixing hydrophobic zeolite with ratio of silica to alumina higher than a specific value as a deodorant into a humor absorbing article for absorbing the humor, such as a sanitary item, an incontinence sheet, loukorrhea sheet. SOLUTION: In a humor absorbing article in which a crash pulp A is mixed with an absorbing polymer B and hydrophobic zeolite C, and the upper and lower parts are coated with a partitioning sheet D and are pressurized into a thin sheet, for deodorizing odor humor, the hydrophobic zeolite C with ratio of silica to alumina higher than at least 30 is mixed to an absorber. The hydrophobic zeolite C may be mixed with the absorbing polymer B into the crash pulp A as required to form the absorber, preferably, the zeolite is mixed together with the absorbing polymer B into the crash pulp A to provide a desired thickness, and its upper and lower parts are coated with the partitioning sheet D allowing the pass of the humor and pressurized to form a deodorizing sheet in the thin sheet form.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known a bodily fluid-absorbing article in which an absorbent made of crushed pulp or the like is mixed with a deodorant such as activated carbon, sodium copper chlorophyllin, or zeolite to absorb and deodorize the odor of bodily fluid. Yes, for example, see JP-A-49-23
No. 493, JP-A-5-161671, and the like. However, activated carbon has a high deodorizing effect, but is black and has poor visibility, so that it is difficult to dispose it on the surface side of the article, and there are problems such as a need to take measures to prevent powder scattering in the manufacturing process. . Copper chlorophyllin sodium and zeolite could not obtain a sufficient deodorizing effect in the liquid phase. In particular, zeolite, which is widely used as an adsorbent, has a silica to alumina ratio of 15 or less, and as a deodorant for body fluids such as menstrual blood which is a liquid substance, it is expected that a deodorant effect is actually expected. I could not do it.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. The present invention relates to a body fluid absorbing article for absorbing body fluid which is a liquid substance such as menstrual blood, urine, etc., in which the odor of the body fluid can be deodorized, and a hydrophobic zeolite having a ratio of silica to alumina of at least 30 or more is used. It is characterized by being blended into an absorber. Zeolite is Na
Zeolite having a composition of 2 Al 2 Si 3 O 10 .xH 2 O, having an SiO 4 tetrahedron as a matrix and an aluminate group as an exchange group, has a silica / alumina ratio of 15 or less. The adsorption amount of water is large.
It is reported that almost no adsorption occurs above 0.
It has been found that zeolite having a silica / alumina ratio of less than 30 when applied to body fluids such as menstrual blood, actually adsorbs moisture in menstrual blood and has an insufficient odor adsorbing effect. Thus, the present inventors have conducted various studies and found that a hydrophobic zeolite exhibiting strong water repellency having a silica / alumina ratio of 30 or more was obtained.
It has been found to be extremely excellent as a deodorant for body fluids such as menstrual blood. In particular, hydrophobic zeolites having a silica / alumina ratio of 100 or more, most preferably from 1000 to 200
It was found that a hydrophobic zeolite of about 0 is excellent in deodorizing body fluids, especially menstrual odor. The particle size of the zeolite to be blended is preferably 3 μm or more, and the blending amount is desirably about 0.01 to 1.0 g per product.

The hydrophobic zeolite may be blended with the absorbent polymer as needed in the crushed pulp to form an absorbent. Preferably, the zeolite is blended with the absorbent polymer in the crushed pulp to obtain a desired thickness. It is preferable to cover the upper and lower sides with a demarcation sheet that allows the passage of bodily fluids and apply pressure to form a thin sheet-shaped deodorant sheet. The definition sheet is made of, for example, absorbent paper or hydrophilic nonwoven fabric. However, hydrophobic zeolites are acrylic,
It may be mixed with a crushed pulp together with an ethylene vinyl acetate-based or polyvinyl alcohol-based binder, and a hydrophobic zeolite may be bonded to the crushed pulp by the bonding force of the binder to form a sheet-shaped deodorizing sheet. The obtained deodorant sheet is white and has good visibility, and there is no possibility of giving a visual disgust due to the appearance of black on the surface as in the case of the conventional activated carbon compounded. Since the deodorant sheet is made of crushed pulp in which an absorbent polymer is blended with zeolite, the deodorant sheet has an excellent deodorizing effect and an excellent effect of absorbing body fluid.
Therefore, it is possible to provide a thin veneer sheet by simply enclosing the liquid-permeable top sheet and the liquid-impermeable back sheet. However, by arranging a deodorant sheet covering an absorbent body made of crushed pulp mixed with an absorbent polymer as necessary, by wrapping it with a liquid-permeable top sheet and a non-liquid-permeable back sheet, It can be formed in the form of a sanitary napkin or incontinence sheet.
