Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化に適するガラス組成物から製造される、高い 耐薬品性、耐湿性、ならびに生溶解性を示すガラス繊維であって、該組成物が実 質的に、モルパーセントで: SiO2 66−69.7 Al2O3 0−2.2 RO 7−18 R2O 9−20 B2O3 0−7.1 からなり、該ガラス組成物がC(酸)≧1.95、C(生体)≦2.30、C( 水分)≧2.46、HTV(103ポイズ)と液相線との間の差としての350 °Fを越えるΔT、ならびにるつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき の150ng/cm2/hrを越える生溶解性を有することを特徴とするガラス 繊維。 2.該組成物が実質的に、モルパーセントで SiO2 66−69.0 Al2O3 0−2.2 RO 7−16 R2O 9−19 B2O3 0−7.1 からなる請求項1のガラス繊維。 3.該組成物が実質的に、モルパーセントで SiO2 66−68.25 Al2O3 0−2.2 RO 7−13 R2O 11−18 B2O3 0−7.1 からなる請求項1のガラス繊維。 4.ΔTが少なくとも約425°Fである請求項1のガラス繊維。 5.ΔTが少なくとも約425°Fである請求項2のガラス繊維。 6.ΔTが少なくとも約425°Fである請求項3のガラス繊維。 7.繊維が、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき、300ng /cm2/hrより大きい測定生溶解速度を有する請求項1のガラス繊維。 8.該繊維が、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき、300n g/cm2/hrより大きい測定生溶解速度を有する請求項2のガラス繊維。 9.該繊維が、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき、300n g/cm2/hrより大きい測定生溶解速度を有する請求項3のガラス繊維。 10.該繊維が、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき、300 ng/cm2/hrより大きい測定生溶解速度を有する請求項4のガラス繊維。 11.該繊維が、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき、300 ng/cm2/hrより大きい測定生溶解速度を有する請求項5のガラス繊維。 12.該繊維が、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化により繊維化したとき、300 ng/cm2/hrより大きい測定生溶解速度を有する請求項6のガラス繊維。 13.ΔTが少なくとも約425°Fであり、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化に より製造した繊維の測定生溶解速度が約400ng/cm2/hrより大きい請 求項1のガラス繊維。 14.ΔTが少なくとも約425°Fであり、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化に より製造した繊維の測定生溶解速度が約400ng/cm2/hrより大きい請 求項2のガラス繊維。 15.ΔTが少なくとも約425°Fであり、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化に より製造した繊維の測定生溶解速度が約400ng/cm2/hrより大きい請 求 項3のガラス繊維。 16.C(酸)≧2.00であり、C(生体)≦2.23であり、かつC(水 分)≧2.50である請求項1のガラス繊維。 17.C(酸)≧2.00であり、C(生体)≦2.20であり、かつC(水 分)≧2.60である請求項1のガラス繊維。 18.炎で細くされた、るつぼおよびマーブル繊維化したガラス繊維であって 、該繊維が揮発性酸化物の位置の枯渇した外殼を有しており、該繊維がガラス組 成物であって実質的にモルパーセントで: SiO2 66−69.0 Al2O3 0−2.2 RO 7−16 R2O 9−19 B2O3 0−7.1 からなり、C(酸)≧2.00、C(生体)≦2.23、C(水分)≧2.50 、HTV(103ポイズ)と液相線との間の差としての300°Fより大きいΔT により特徴付けられるガラス組成物から製造され、該繊維が約150ng/cm2 /hrより大きい生溶解速度を示すことを特徴とするガラス繊維。 19.該C(酸)≧2.00であり、該C(生体)≦2.23であり、該C( 水分)≧2.50であり、該ΔTが約400°Fより大きく、該繊維が生溶解速 度≧300ng/cm2/hrを示す請求項18の繊維。 20.該ガラス組成物が、モルパーセントで SiO2 66−68.25 Al2O3 0−2.2 RO 7−13 R2O 11−18 B2O3 0−7.1 からなり、該C(酸)≧2.00であり、該C(生体)≦2.20であり、該C (水分)≧2.60であり、該ΔTが約400°Fより大きく、該繊維が生溶解 速度≧300ng/cm2/hrを示す請求項18の繊維。 21.耐酸および耐湿性ガラス繊維であって実質的に、モルパーセントで: SiO2 66.5−67.8 Al2O3 0.5−1.5 B2O3 5.0−7.0 CaO 3.0−7.0 MgO 3.0−7.0 Na2O 14.0−17.0 K2O 0.1−0.4 (ただしCaOとMgOの合計は約8.0と12.0との間である) からなるガラス組成物から製造され、該ガラス繊維が400°Fより大きいΔT と、約350ng/cm2/hrより大きいかまたは等しい生溶解速度を示すこ とを特徴とするガラス繊維。
