一体成形しなければならないので、製造工程が複雑とな
る問題があった。また配管現場での接続施工の際、通常
のポリエチレン管接続用の電気融着継手とは別途、この
特殊な鋼管とポリエチレン管接続用継手を用意しなけれ
ばならず、配管施工上も問題があった。本発明は上記の
実状に鑑みてなされたもので、通常のポリエチレン管を
接続する電気融着継手を用いて鋼管と簡単容易に且つコ
ンパクトに接続できる鋼管接続用アダプターを提供する
