【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、ギャザー模様を有
するオーナメント表皮に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】ギャザー模様を有するオーナメント表皮
においては、所定の部位を縫い縮めて不規則なひだを作
ってギャザー模様を顕出しているのが一般であり、この
ようにギャザー模様を顕出してなるオーナメント表皮は
ひだの長さ方向に伸張された状態で基板の表面に貼着さ
れる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、従来のギャ
ザー模様を有するオーナメント表皮においては、ギャザ
ー模様を構成する各ひだを個々に位置決めすることは困
難であり、また、ひだの個数、ピッチ間隔、大きさを特
定することも困難である。従って、本発明の目的はこの
ような問題に対処することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、ギャザー模様
を有する表皮と、同表皮におけるギャザー模様の検出部
位の裏面側に貼着された裏打ち部材とからなり、前記表
皮は所定の部位に互いに並列して設けた所定幅の複数本
のスリット状溝部を有し、同表皮を前記スリット状溝部
の幅を消失させる方向に伸張した状態で前記裏打ち部材
に貼着することにより、前記ギャザー模様が所定の部位
に顕出されていることを特徴とするものである。
【０００５】本発明に係るオーナメント表皮において
は、前記表皮が、前記裏打ち部材に伸張状態で逢着され
ていること、または伸張状態で接着されていることを等
の構成を採ることができる。これらのオーナメント表皮
は、ドアトリムの表面側に取付けられるドアトリム用オ
ーナメント表皮として好適である。

【発明の作用・効果】本発明に係るギャザー模様を有す
るオーナメント表皮においては、ギャザー模様を構成す
る各ひだが各スリット状溝部に沿ってその近傍に形成さ
れるとともに、各ひだは各スリット状溝部の間隔により
ピッチ間隔が決定され、かつ、各スリット状溝部の間隔
および長さにより大きさが決定される。このため、本発
明に係るギャザー模様を有するオーナメント表皮によれ
ば、ギャザー模様を構成する各ひだを個々に容易に位置
決めすることができ、また、ひだの個数、ピッチ間隔、
大きさを容易に特定することができる。
【０００７】また、本発明に係るギャザー模様を有する
オーナメント表皮においては、各スリット状溝部の長さ
を変化させることにより、ギャザー模様を構成する各ひ
だを傾斜状に形成することができ、傾斜状のギャザー模
様を構成することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明を図面に基づいて説
明すると、図１〜図３には、本発明の一例に係るオーナ
メント表皮を使用したドアトリムが示されている。当該
ドアトリムは、オーナメント表皮１０をドアトリム本体
２１の表面にオーナメントパッド２２を挟んだ状態で取
付けてなるもので、オーナメント表皮１０はドアトリム
本体２１に対して、その前後の各端部にて各ブラケット
２３ａ，２３ｂを介して取付けられて各ビス２４ａ，２
４ｂにより固定され、かつ、その上下の各端部にてタッ
カーにて固定されている。
【０００９】なお、ドアトリム本体２１の表面には、オ
ーナメント表皮１０の上端縁部を覆蓋する状態でアッパ
プレート２５が取付けられているとともに、オーナメン
ト表皮１０の下端縁部を覆蓋する状態でアームレスト２
６が取付けられている。アッパプレート２５およびアー
ムレスト２６は、各ビス２７ａ，２７ｂにより固定され
ている。
【００１０】しかして、オーナメント表皮１０は、図４
〜図６に示すように、柔軟な合成皮革、本皮革等からな
る表皮材料１４からなる表皮１１と、樹脂製の一対の裏
打ちプレート１２，１３からなるもので、表皮１１は表
皮材料１４の上下の各端縁部に複数のスリット状溝部１
１ａ，１１ｂを形成することにより構成されている。各
スリット状溝部１１ａ，１１ｂは、互いに並列した状態
で上下方向に延びるもので、ギャザー模様１０ａの顕出
部位に形成されている。
【００１１】かかる表皮１１は、各スリット状溝部１１
ａ，１１ｂの幅を消失させる方向に伸張され、この伸長
状態を保持した状態で、各スリット状溝部１１ａ，１１
ｂの形成部位が各裏打ちプレート１２，１３に貼着され
ている。表皮１１は、各裏打ちプレート１２，１３に対
しては、逢着または高周波ウェルダー等の手段により貼
着される。表皮１１は、この貼着状態により、各スリッ
ト状溝部１１ａ，１１ｂの形成部位間に、上下方向に延
びる多数のひだからなるギャザー模様１０ａが顕出され
ている。
【００１２】かかる構成のギャザー模様を有するオーナ
メント表皮１０においては、ギャザー模様１０ａを構成
する各ひだが各スリット状溝部１１ａ，１１ｂに沿って
近傍に形成されるとともに、各ひだは各スリット状溝部
１１ａ，１１ｂの間隔によりピッチ間隔が決定され、か
つ、各スリット状溝部１１ａ，１１ｂの間隔および長さ
により大きさが決定される。このため、ギャザー模様１
０ａを有するオーナメント表皮１０によれば、ギャザー
模様１０ａを構成する各ひだを個々に容易に位置決めす
ることができ、また、ひだの個数、ピッチ間隔、大きさ
を容易に特定することができる。
【００１３】なお、当該オーナメント表皮１０において
は、各スリット状溝部１１ａ，１１ｂの長さを変化させ
ることにより、ギャザー模様１０ａを構成する各ひだを
傾斜状に形成することができ、傾斜状のギャザー模様を
