La presente invenzione riguarda il settore tecnico relativo ai caschi. The present invention relates to the technical sector relating to helmets.

In particolare l’invenzione si riferisce ad un innovativo casco, ad esempio da ciclista o da motociclista, il quale è tale da consentire all’utilizzatore di poter modificarne all’occorrenza la forma, l’aerodinamicità e/o anche il design. Sono noti da molto tempo varie tipologie diverse di caschi, ovvero caschi per motociclisti come anche caschi per i ciclisti. Various different types of helmets have been known for a long time, i.e. helmets for motorcyclists as well as helmets for cyclists.

La finalità, come ben noto, è sempre la stessa ovvero quella di proteggere la testa del conducente in caso di caduta accidentale. Chiaramente i caschi da motociclista, viste le velocità raggiungibili da tali mezzi di trasporto che possono superare facilmente anche i 200 km/h, sono molto robusti mentre i caschi da ciclista sono in materiali molto più leggero e forniti di aperture per la traspirazione del sudore. In accordo all’invenzione, sempre la figura 1 mostra una scocca esterna 1 la quale è conformata nella forma e misura tale da potersi applicare (cioè sovrapporsi) sul casco, in particolare a copertura almeno parziale del guscio esterno del casco. Ovviamente la scocca deve avere una certa rigidità in quanto può assolvere con la sua forma anche a funzioni aerodinamiche per cui non è consigliata ne percorribile una scocca costituita da un semplice tessuto posto sulla superficie esterna del casco. Si tratterebbe dunque di predisporre dei bottoni 3 provvisti di perni uscenti in uno o più punti del casco (ad esempio nella parte di casco destinata a copertura delle orecchie) in modo tale che, quando tale scocca esterna viene fatta calzare sul casco, tali perni vadano a combaciare con dei relativi fori riceventi 2 presenti in detta scocca, in modo tale che pigiando nel punto di posizione dei fori riceventi verso la scocca, il perno si inserisce a scatto nel foro. Quanto descritto per un normale casco da motociclista è validamente applicabile anche ai caschi da bicicletta, con l’ulteriore vantaggio che nei caschi da ciclista la scocca esterna può modificarsi nella forma senza necessariamente dunque dover riprendere esternamente la forma del casco madre su cui applicato. Questo perché, soprattutto nel campo ciclistico, esistono varie conformazioni di casco diverse a seconda delle esigenze e con ogni conformazione ottimizzata aerodinamicamente per l’attività prevista. In questo modo è dunque possibile sfruttare l’intercambiabilità di tale scocca esterna non solo come scopo estetico ma anche allo scopo di aggiungere una funzionalità tecnica aerodinamica.
