The contact surface between the support element and the ornamental element is maximum, and therefore allows for a safer joint, without the need for chemical adhesives. Advantageously, therefore, the joint has a guarantee of durability over time, and is not subject to temperature or glue solidification constraints.

L’elemento di supporto, essendo privo di bracci, è vantaggiosamente meno delicato da manipolare, ed è pertanto ridotto il rischio di una sua rottura per quanto le sue dimensioni possano essere ridotte. The support element, being devoid of arms, is advantageously less delicate to handle, and therefore the risk of its breaking is reduced even though its dimensions can be reduced.

È infine chiaro che all'inserto ornamentale fin qui descritto possono essere applicate varianti, modifiche o aggiunte ovvie per un tecnico del ramo, senza per questo fuoriuscire dall'ambito di tutela fornito dalle rivendicazioni annesse. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Ornamental insert for articles in the form of a sheet or layer, comprising a support element (2) for ornamental elements (4), said support element being associable with an article (100) at its base (2b); characterized in that said support element (2) comprises a recess (2r) positioned at the opposite end with respect to the base (2b) and configured to retain a respective ornamental element (4) perimeter by means of a mechanical contrast at a perimeter of the withdrawal (2r) itself.

2. Ornamental insert according to claim 1, wherein said recess (2r) has an internal wall (2w) inclined in such a way as to define an opening of minimum area at the leading edge of the recess (2r) and a 'maximum area at the base of the recess (2r) which defines the maximum depth of the same.

3. Ornamental insert according to claim 2, in which said recess (2r) has a circular plan, and in which the internal wall (2w) defines a frusto-conical section.

4. Insert according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said support element (2) has an external wall inclined with respect to its central axis (X).

5. Insert according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said support element (2) comprises a central hole (2f) and wherein said insert comprises a pin (3) which can be inserted into said central hole (2f) by piercing in use the said artifact (100).

6. Insert according to claim 5, wherein said pin has a portion (3c, 3p) which can be inserted into said central hole (2f); said portion (3c, 3p) having a smaller extension with respect to the depth of said central hole (2f).

7. Insert according to claim 1, wherein said support element (2) has its own central axis (X) and an external wall having a plurality of sections (2c, 2d, 2e) each of which has a different inclination with respect to said central axis (X).

8. Ornamental insert according to claim 6, wherein said pin (3) also has a head (3t) which in use can remain on a face of said product (100) opposite to the face where the base (2b) rests of the said support element (2), thus realizing a means for contrasting and retaining the said support element against the said product.

9. Ornamental element (4), capable of being fitted in use within a support element (2) of an ornamental insert (1); the said ornamental element (4) being characterized in that it comprises a base portion (4f) having a cylindrical section configured to fit into a recess (2r) of the said support element.

An ornamental assembly comprising an ornamental insert according to any one of claims 1-8 and an ornamental element according to claim 9.
