R IV E N D IC A T IO N I 1. 3. Apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said abutment edge (28) rises from the bottom of a recess or from the same upper face of the plate or tray until it exceeds in height the plane of the gasket (29) that surrounds it.

Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said base plate or tray (21) has parallel, on its upper face, a groove housing the profiled gasket (27), on the back of this a transverse abutment edge (28 ) designed to define the position of the mouth of the flexible container with respect to the suction chamber, and between said profiled gasket and said abutment edge, a linear gasket (36) intended to mate with a part of the sealing gasket (32) on the upper body to define the suction chamber when the appliance is closed.

Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said base plate or tray (21) has parallel, on its upper face, a groove housing the profiled gasket (27), a sealing rib (38) for a stop of the mouth of a container with respect to the suction chamber, and a transverse rib (39) acting as a positioning or guide for the mouth of said container and having interruptions or openings (40) for an outflow of any liquids.

6. Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said base plate or tray (21) has parallel, on its upper face, a groove housing the profiled gasket (27), and a transverse abutment rib (39) adapted to define the position of the mouth of the container with respect to the suction chamber.

7. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said base plate or tray has in its rear part a tray portion for collecting any liquids, said tray portion being in a lowered position with respect to the upper face of the plate or tray .

8. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the base plate or tray has two end recesses defining lateral gripping areas and / or a front handle.

9. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising means for connecting the suction unit in said upper body with the lid of a rigid container such as a jar or canister.
