Il piatto,Vedi Fig.A n.1 si impugna attraverso la maniglietta e fa porre il pollice sopra di essa ed il resto della mano sotto,Vedi fig.A n.2 ove è posto il vano bicchiere,cioè sulla parte fredda del piatto, rendendolo ergonomico ed antiscottatura, garantendo una presa sicura. E'infatti dotato ai lati,di una o due maniglie ambidestre,vedi fig.B n.l, che oltre ad ottimizzarne la presa, facilitano il servizio di approvvigionamento,di trasporto per un efficiente customer care. Il piatto evita il rovesciamento in quanto progettato per consentire al peso aggiuntogli dalla pietanza, una volta impugnatolo, di essere distribuito trasversalmente al piatto rendendolo anti rovesciamento.
