Abstract

A box (1) for substances in granular of powder form has a tear-open tongue (5) and a sprinkling device (2) which are formed from or mounted on the package. A tear-open tongue (5, 5d) is provided in a region of the box (1) which has a cover composed of several layers of cardboard and/or laminate (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), and which is stamped out (2, 4, 5e), embossed (3b, 5c, 5b), and provided with breaking lines (5a, 3a). The tear-open tongue (5, 5d) may, if necessary, be covered by a safety tongue (3) which is torn together with the tear-open tongue (5) in order to release the contents through a sprinkling device (2) under the tear-open tongue (5).
