Abstract

La lente oftalmica multifocale progressiva della presente invenzione comprende una superficie asferica (S), con una zona di visione da lontano (VL), una zona di visione da vicino (VP), una zona di visione intermedia (VI), un meridiano principale di progressione (MM'); essa presenta un valore di addizione di potenza A uguale alla variazione della sfera media tra un punto (L) della zona di visione da lontano (VL) e un punto (P) della zona di visione da vicino (VP), e una base B o valore di sfera media, in detto punto (L).La larghezza della zona di visione da vicino (VP) varia non soltanto in funzione del valore di addizione di potenza A, ma anche in funzione del valore della base B, in modo da garantire un campo dell'oggetto sostanzialmente costante per tutti i valori di addizione e della base.(Fig. 1)
