Abstract

Il procedimento per l'ottimizzazione dietetica dei suini in accrescimento consiste nell'alterare artificialmente mediante impulsi elettrici sequenziali, per periodi di tempo predeterminato, la motilità gastrica naturale dello stomaco del suino per impedire o rallentare lo svuotamento del viscere e pertanto allungare il tempo di soggiorno gastrico dell'alimento e con esso anche il tempo di digestione gastrica, per avere un più efficace processo di assorbimento intestinale riducendo le necessità di mangime del suino senza intaccare l'incremento ponderale dello stesso. L'attuazione di questo procedimento è ottenute mediante un dispositivo elettronico per l'ottimizzazione dietetica dei suini in accrescimento che comprende uno stimolatore elettrico applicato nel sottocute dell'addome in posizione mediana in prossimità dell'apofisi ensiforme dello sterno del suino, il quale presente mezzi per la sua connessione elettrica con lo strato sub-sieroso muscolare della parete dell'antro gastrico.The procedure for the dietetic optimization of growing pigs consists in artificially altering the natural gastric motility of the pig's stomach by means of sequential electrical impulses, for predetermined periods of time, to prevent or slow down the emptying of the bowels and therefore lengthen the stay time gastric food and with it also the time of gastric digestion, to have a more effective intestinal absorption process reducing the pig's need for feed without affecting the weight increase of the same. The implementation of this procedure is obtained by means of an electronic device for the dietetic optimization of pigs in growth which includes an electrical stimulator applied in the subcutaneous abdomen in the median position near the ensiform apophysis of the sternum of the pig, which present means for its electrical connection with the sub-serous muscular layer of the gastric antrum wall.
