Abstract

Per rilevare la densità di un flusso (17) di materiale fibroso in una macchina (1) per la produzione di sigarette, vengono eseguite due differenti misure, la prima (18) delle quali è capacitiva e fornisce un primo segnale funzione della densità della componente secca e della densità del liquido contenuto nel flusso di materiale fibroso e la seconda (19) delle quali è ottica e fornisce un secondo segnale indicativo della densità della componente secca; il secondo segnale viene combinato con il primo segnale per ottenere un terzo segnale che è indicativo della densità del liquido contenuto nel flusso di materiale fibroso, e dal terzo e dal secondo segnale si ottiene un quarto segnale indicativo della densità del flusso di materiale fibroso, come somma della densità della componente secca e del liquido nel flusso di materiale fibroso.(Figura 1).
