Abstract

Una candela ad incandescenza con doppia spirale di controllo della corrente, per il preriscaldamento di motori diesel. La candela comprende un corpo metallico dal quale si prolunga una guaina metallica tubolare contenente un elemento elettrico resistivo a doppia spirale, annegato in una polvere compattata di un materiale elettricamente isolante e termicamente conduttore; le due spirali dell'elemento riscaldante sono realizzate con fili di uno stesso materiale avente un elevato coefficiente di temperatura positivo in modo da fornire un doppio controllo differenziato della corrente assorbita durante le fasi di preriscaldamento e di post-riscaldamento, pur mantenendo tempi e temperature di riscaldamento a valori ottimali.
