Abstract
Un freno (10) per autoveicoli, del tipo a sfere (13) e a rampe (14), comprende da due piatti affrontati (11, 12) di pressione comandata dei dischi frenanti (20, 21) al loro allontanamento reciproco mediante azione su alette (16, 17) di rotazione dei piatti così da spostare le sfere (13) lungo le sedi a rampa (14). Per l'allontanamento delle alette (16, 17), fra di esse è posto un elemento di manovra (27) connesso ad un tirante (34) per essere mobile in direzione sostanzialmente radiale ai piatti fra una posizione non operativa verso l'interno dei piatti ed una posizione operativa o di frenatura verso l'esterno dei piatti. Superfici inclinate (28, 29, 30, 31) di scorrimento fra alette (16, 17) ed elemento di manovra (27) producono l'allontanamento delle alette al movimento dell'elemento (27) verso la sua posizione operativa per traino del tirante (34). Vantaggiosamente, fra le superfici di scorrimento possono essere posti elementi di rotolamento, quali sfere (32, 33).
