Abstract

Un dermatan solfato naturale ad attività antitrombinica superiore a 220 U/mg, caratterizzato da una sequenza oligosaccaridica a elevato grado di solfatazione, di formula (I), (dove R6 - H o S03-; U = acido uronico non solfato; A - aminozucchero; n - 3, 4, 5) è estratto da organi, e successivamente purificato in condizioni operative blande, a pH 5-7, comunque inferiore a 7, isolamento e frazionamento essendo effettuati con resine a scambio ionico, macroreticolate, di granulometria 0.3-1.3 mm, e anche <10µ.
