Si descrivono formulazioni oftalmiche a rilascio protratto contenenti i principi attivi sotto forma di soluzioni ad elevata viscosità costituite da una miscela di acqua e copolimeri poliossietilenici-poliossipropilenici (polossameri) aventi circa il 70% di unità poliossietileniche e peso molecolare medio di circa 12.500, caratterizzate dal fatto che contengono tensioattivi non ionici come stabilizzanti.
