Abstract

Structure constructed of a framework and flexible cover sheet material comprising at least two frames (16) located side by side as a double or multi-span protective structure, each frame defining a span and including roof members (14) and attached longitudinal side frame members defining an arched or pitted roof at least at adjacent side members of adjacent spans, gutter means (12) associated with the side frame members, and interconnecting side by side frames, and flexible covering sheet material (20) covering the roof span. The sheet material is wrapped over around a plank element (18) having a bottom, a top, and inner and outer side surfaces. The gutter means is provided with spaced-apart clamping members (22) each of the clamping members having one end attached to the gutter means, the other end being sized to pass around the outer side surface of the plank element and to the top. The gutter means extends below the inner side surface and bottom surface of the plank element and extends beyond a plane perpendicularly tangential to the inner surface and above a plane horizontally tangential to the outer bottom edge of the plank element, and the line of first contact between the flexible covering means and the plank element being located in a spaced-aprt vertical disposition w.r.t. a fluid-receiving upper portion of the gutter means whereby condensation fluid dripping is received by the gutter means.
