Abstract

The applicator applies adhesive to one or more points on a flexible sheet of wrapping material. It has an application roller (1), extracting adhesive from a vat or container (4) and a stripper element (5) to clean the roller, allowing penetration of adhesive at certain points. A counter roller (15) moves the sheets (100) through the application area. The counter roller is located on an axis parallel to that of the roller, but may be displaced in a positioned next to the latter, following the movement direction of the sheets. Located below the counter roller is a guide (20), engaging on the jacket (1a) of the roller, which takes up the sheets coming from the application area.
