Abstract
Appts. comprises a combustion furnace at the centre of which is located a combustion vessel. The vessel is divided into two sections, upper and lower with catalyst particles provided as a layer in the upper section. Exterior to the furnace is a PCB tank which is piped to the combustion vessel within the furnace for filling. The furnace has a burner for initiating the process and a fan for maintaining the process interchargeable at the opening. Exhaust gas is passed through a gas treatment tank which adsorbs and neutralises chlorine gas.
