Abstract
The invention concerns a tyre comprising at least one carcass reinforcement, a belt reinforcement comprising a first and second end, a tread, said belt reinforcement comprising the following distinct éléments: -a reinforcing ply, having transverse half-width L2, comprising a reinforcing polymer layer disposed between two layers of rubber coating, -at least one bracing ply, mounted on the reinforcing ply, and having transverse half-width Ll, and comprising two-by-two parallel wire reinforcement éléments, forming, at the most, an angle at most equal to 7° relative to the circumferential direction of the tyre, the tyre comprising at least one layer of edge decoupling gum (7), disposed at least radially between the bracing ply (5) and the reinforcing ply (6) and dis - posed at at least one transverse end of the belt reinforcement, said layer of edge decoupling gum (7) having a total length of between 10 and 40 mm and a thickness of between 0.2 and 1.2 mm, characterised in that it comprises at least one reinforcing ply, and in that at at least one end of the belt reinforcement (3), half-widths Ll and L2 are différent, and have a différence (L1-L2) of between 5 and 10 mm.
