Abstract
Provided is a conductive material which has excellent tab weldability and which is arranged in islands and reduces contact resistance with the active substance layer; also provided is an electrode material which has good adhesion with conductive material islands. This electrode material (1) is provided with a substrate (1a) including a metal foil and a conductive material (1b) containing carbon. When observing with a 300µm square field of view the conductive material (1b) is arranged in islands on the surface of the substrate (1a) and the conductive material is fixed to the surface of the substrate together with a hydrophobic resin and a water soluble resin.
