Abstract

A window assembly comprises rectangular main frame 10 which may be fixed to an existing window to provide double glazing, and a rectangular wing 15 which is movable into and out of engagement with the main frame. The wing 15 is connected to the main frame 10 by a plurality of extensible friction linkages 21, 22, 23, 24 so arranged that the wing may be selectively adjusted angularly with respect to the frame by differential extension of at least certain of the linkages. <IMAGE> [GB2097850A]
