Abstract
1409860 Feeding bottles H REBHAN 18 Oct 1973 [14 Nov 1972] 48640/73 Heading B8D An infants' feeding bottle is provided with an undercut external side wall groove 3, which terminates at its lower end above the bottle base and at its upper end where the bottle tapers to form a neck and in which a capillary thermometer is removably-received. The thermometer is releasably-retained by friction and by a bottle screw cap (not shown). Alternatively, the thermometer, when comprising in part of elastic plastics material, may be retained in the groove by snap engageable elevation and indentations. A weight or volume calibration may be provided on the base of the groove, on the thermometer, or on a slip interposed the thermometer and groove base.
