Abstract

1318848 Milk replacer AKZO NV 27 March 1972 [26 April 1971] 14273/72 Heading A2B A mother's milk replacer for non-human mammals, in particular calves, comprises fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and minerals, the protein content including at least one source of protein other than skim milk, there being present sufficient calcium disodium ethylene diamine tetra-acetate such that the assimilable iron content does not exceed 10 ppm. The protein may be for example soya powder, fish meal, blood meal, whey powder, potato protein or protein obtained by growing yeast cells on a paraffin wax nutrient medium.
