1280247 Lubricants TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP 17 Nov 1970 [15 Dec 1969] 54597/70 Heading C5F Lubricants comprise a major amount of an ester of pentaerythritol, a polypentaerythritol or trimethylolpropane and one or more C 2 -C 18 monocarboxylic acids and (i) 0À3-5 wt. per cent of a C 4 -C 12 alkyl or C 4 -C 12 alk-aryl-phenylnaphthylamine; (ii) 0À3-5 wt. per cent of a di- C 4 -C 12 alkyl-diphenylamine; (iii) 0À001-1 wt. per cent of a polyhydroxyanthraquinone and (iv) 0À25-10 wt. per cent of a tri-hydrocarbyl phosphate. The lubricant may also contain a dimethyl silicae and a bis-(2, 2,4-trimethylpentyl) ester of a dimer of linoleic acid. [GB1280247A]
