Abstract

A találmány tővábbá tárgya a gén alkalmazása a növényekbenszéles körű betegségrezisztenciát indűkáló vegyületekszűrővizsgálatában. ŕThe invention is based on the localization and characterization of a gene called NIM1, which is the keystone of the SAR (systemic acquired resistance) reaction pathway and which is capable of inducing SAR gene expression and a wide range of plant disease resistance with chemical and biological inducers. The invention further relates to a chimeric gene containing the NIM1 gene, an expression cassette, a vector, plants transformed with the agent, as well as procedures for the creation of transgenic plants using the gene. Further, the subject of the invention is the use of the gene in the screening of compounds that induce broad disease resistance in plants. ŕ
