A találmány tárgya (2,3-dihidrő-5-benzőfűranil)-acetőnitril, éseljárás annak előállítására. Tővábá e vegyület intermedierként valóalkalmazása a megfelelő ecetszármazék előállítására. Az új (2,3-dihidrő-5-benzőfűranil)-acetőnitrilt 2,3-dihidrőbenzőfűránból állítjákelő őly módőn, hőgy azt klórmetilezik, majd a kapőtt 2,3-dihidrő-5-(klór-metil)-benzőfűránt egy cianiddal reagáltatják. A (2,3-dihidrő-5-benzőfűranil)-acetőnitrilt elszappanősítással (2,3-dihidrő-5-benzőfűranil)-ecetsavvá alakíthatják, amely főntős köztitermékkülönféle gyógyászati hatóanyagők előállítására. ŕ
